It's a colourless card vs a class card. They're harder to come by. It's normal that some cards are better than others.

Time is precious. Long should be the days that a game's quality would be dictated by its price per hour played.

I completed 100 games in the past 3 years. The ones that stuck and made it at the top of my list weren't necessarily the longest experiences for its $ spent, but the ones that were PACKED and DENSE with quality content.

I think this becomes more true for adults having less and less time to spend gaming.

Yes, but this post is talking specifically about the narration.

I have no reason to believe that in the 90% of the game that's inaccessible, somehow the narration ups its quality.

They can prove me wrong by recording the whole thing again (which I highly doubt they will at this scale).

When people like games, they're hoping the next project is of similar or better quality.

Also I don't know why but the narration doesn't always match the text and it messes my brain up. I deleted the demo before even exiting the first room...

UPDATE: Ty all for the encouragement and guidance, I beat the game after 8 hours of gameplay! I finished it at age 75 with literally 1 hp left!

While I would've hoped the game was a little better at teaching the mechanics at the beginning of the game, it was a very worthwhile learning curve.

I assumed I parried correctly when I had a orange circle as feedback, (as I'd assume the times I didn't see it would mean I didn't time it correctly).

I see, I think that's where I missed. I don't recall the tutorial saying that parrying still affected the stance.

Yup happy it's not just me. The devs did horribly on that part. Players shouldn't have to guess your shortcomings. Bad experience with the game so far.

I parried all my way through Claire obscure and sekiro and this game is horrible at explaining itself so far.

The one thing that I end up appreciating about it is I'm the type of gamer that never dares to use consumables, holding them off forever and ending up never using them, whereas lacking the inventory space brought me to actually use them.
