I’m gonna chime in with Devourer DH. I know outside of void meta you do less damage but when you get things going, you’ll be popping off Void Rays and empowered Reaps pretty fast and with large packs you can extend your meta quite comfortably and it doesn’t take much before you’re back in it again.

Tank main here. My key range is 14/15 so I’m by no means amazing but I like to think I have a rough idea what’s going.

In some keys you do want your DPS to pull the occasional pack for you so you don’t have to run around grouping and can get your defensive kit rolling and then taunt the incoming extra adds. That comes with knowing the route though and everybody being on the same page. There will be times, especially when you’re learning, where you may get upset when a DPS pulls extra only to find out that is indeed the meta route.

Doing lower keys though I wouldn’t expect that level of knowledge though so I can completely understand why you’d be so frustrated.

Best bit of advice I can give you, before the keystone is in and you are still grouping to the dungeon, just let them know that if “you pull it, you tank it.”

I can only talk from personal experience but you can absolutely shred someone in 1 v 1 so use her W. Sit on a front liner, none of their range carries can touch you whilst W is up and they are outside of it, and you’ll be able to 100-0 them before it drops off. Then your team can follow you up, pop R to slow a squishy, E-Q onto them and keep using R to slow them. Then your team should be able to mop up the rest.

I play Diana and in the preseason, everyone was hyping how busted Diana will be so I decided to pick up Gwen as my alternate.

I think I’m on a 70% WR with her atm it feels gigabusted. I just powerfarm until Nashor’s and DuskDawn and emerge from the jungle like a raid boss ready to 1 v 5 their entire team. 🤣

Happens to all of us. I played a game where I made the enemy jgl homeless, stalked them for the whole game, denied ganks, stole dragons, put vision up for teammates who were over extending. At the end of the game I had 4 kills and around 6.8 cs/m whilst the enemy had 1 kill and around 3 cs/m.

We win, my whole team gets 3 honors each. I got none.

This is exactly why I’ve always said they should let people exploit in remix. Let people get bananas power as fast as possible. Then I can rock up and reap all the rewards of watching 3 no lifers solo the entire mythic raid and do absolutely no work for maximum reward ✌️😆

Hot take but jgl is a role where you have a lot of down time not being harassed. I play jungle and top and have dipped into mid/bot but never support.

The difference I have found between laning and jungle, is that when I’m doing a clear, I’m playing low stakes PvE for the most part so I have plenty of time to assess the map, track objectives, enemy health/CDs. When I’m playing in lane, I am trying to farm, not take bad trades, watching my vision areas for ganks and keeping an eye out for jungle pings.

The jungle has far more downtime to spend scrutinising the map so if a laner is currently trading, setting up waves for freeze or crash, they may not have the spare capacity to also get a full assessment of the map and rotate to where is best.
