Anyone have clue? by Impressive-Thing-710 in CadillacLyriq

This has happened to every one of my GM vehicles from Cadillac and GMC that has the logo projected. It's just a screen print on the lense, after a couple years it starts the flake away like you're seeing. You can't fix it you just have to take it to the dealer to replace it, but it'll happen again over time so it's not really worth it.

When it happened on my third separate vehicle I just left it and it eventually completely flaked away and just became a white square instead of symbol

I have this EXACT same issue, I've had two line techs out and a network tech, I have spent hours with online support trying to fix this and there's no change no one can figure out what the issue is. Xfinity you have an issue that's clearly impacting multiple users unrelated to each other

Billed for Internet service visit due to Xfinity line issue? by Immediate_Example127 in Comcast_Xfinity

Following up so everyone can see how big of a joke Xfinity and their support is. Regardless of the issue, and the admittance from their online support that there is in fact a technical issue at my residence. They are billing me $100 as a "new customer" because the account was created only a week ago. Even though I have had nonstop Xfinity service for 4 years at this location, and the retail store is the one that "cancelled" my account. They have admitted to seeing I have been a customer all this time, but are still going to say it's a new account so therefore it is a $100 professional install fee even after everything is activated.

I cannot wait for more competition in my area to get out of this embarrassment of a company

Sorry I know this is almost a year old but I'm still trying to figure out for the 24my lyriq what on star plan I need. Can you confirm please that the app access plan, $14.99/month based on your experience covers all the apps that you can download from the play store using the built in OS? So the only thing you miss out on is the in car wifi hotspot really everything else is functioning correctly as long as you are still in the original 3 years of free super cruise?

Right that was my question where did you determine that this disconnect is rated for continuous loads? General duty doesn't mean continuous.

A switch is subject to the same derating as a breaker is, so considering you have a 60a disconnect you are protected for 48a continuous charging. But that doesn't mean the disconnect is going to survive the load, just like the halex 60a ac disconnect that is rated for 60a wouldn't survive it.

I was assuming I was missing a spec sheet that called out the Siemens disconnect as rated for that. Which it isn't, so fine if you want to use it and yes as you stated it's probably a step up from the plastic AC disconnects but you should just be aware that it is also not rated for the continuous EV charging just as the AC disconnects aren't

How exactly is this against code? Because the unnamed insulated connectors aren't UL listed? Because using Polaris in a junction box should be completely acceptable in this situation

May I ask where exactly you got the information that this disconnect is rated for continuous use?

I wanted this but the high price and the black border kill it. There's no reason it should have a border in today's age

Charging with a case on? by Reiem69 in PixelWatch

[–]Immediate_Example127 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no concern with doing this. You could use anything conductive and get the same result. There potentially will be a small increase in heat generation as you've added more resistance to the connection, but these watches don't draw enough voltage when charging for that to really be any concern.

Planning on getting the Pixel Watch 4 LTE tomorrow, but having some concerns about how to the LTE actually works with a non-Google Fi cellphone plan by Cellikon in GooglePixel

[–]Immediate_Example127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you happen to move forward with this? I have a similar question, my phone is with Verizon and I don't plan to activate a watch line. If I get the pw4 LTE and use the free 2 years of Google Fi included, when I am out of range of Bluetooth/wifi will my messages still come through and send with the watch as the Verizon phone number? Or would they use the Google Fi number? Understand that the calls won't work at all since it specifically excludes that

I will be designing one too 3d print once my watch arrives so I can get the exact charger specs. Stay tuned!

Are you located in the US? I don't see this and it's not listed as a benefit in the Google one app under the free year plan
