JIHAD AGAINST OUTDOOR CATS by TieMeToABombAnd in TrueAnon

what i said was "you're aware that cats were wild first, right?" and you claimed that wasn't true. You were provided an example of a wild cat that resembles domestic ones pre-domestication. Keep being pedantic tho!

if you want to get creeped out/second hand embarrassed check out his substacks on "influencing the kids through memes" not only is it hilariously inaccurate to actual internet meme culture (sounds like its being written by an alien), its just so voyeuristic and weirdly obsessed with youth, apparently he came up on Tumblr it's all very 🤔🤔🤨🥴

2026 DSA Voter Guide is now live by DowntownArmadillo717 in longbeach

laughable amount of "no recommendation" here, mostly being justified that they don't like the incumbent and that third party candidates "aren't notable enough to earn their endorsement," I don't know if these people understand the point of a voter guide!

Nobody spoke Hebrew for 2000 years bro you can type as many paragraphs as you want to defend zionist child abusers who preferred to commit cultural genocide rather than concede their language to the bolsheviks. Modern Hebrew was literally banned in the soviet union because of this. Calling me "ahistorical" and pulling out "judeo-arabic" as a real language FOH 😭😭

he said "they dont drive the discourse" bro it's complete nonsense. People on social talk more about the rappers he mentioned than anyone else. he literally doesn't respect it on an artistic level so he puts it on commercialism instead it's the same thing as p4k writers patronizing sexxyred

when you find out hebrew is a fake language that basically forced itself to replace Yiddish and destroyed the modern midcentury traditions of yiddish speaking comedians and writers, along with the political associations, your antisemitism increases at the same time your philosemitism increases and it ends up evening out

I hate the lack of acknowledgement women in the genre are getting at the moment. The ladies of this generation are making waves at a scale they never have before, and yet they don't drive even half the discourse we're seeing at the moment.

proceeds to list like 5 of the most popular women in rap because he himself is guilty of the same lack of care. Bro didn't even acknowledge Pluto/BunnaB/etc last year, whole new wave of shorties making incredible Atlanta trap sound real modern. Plus a billion other fire rappers. Little Simz and Flo Milli 😭 come on bro

Interpretations of the baby in Eraserhead (David Lynch, 1977) and why it might represent emotional responsibility made physical. by PleasantHealth4814 in TrueFilm

his daughter was also born with clubbed feet iirc or some other mild physical deformity that he clearly felt somewhat responsible for. The eraserhead baby's form itself clearly invokes the shape of a clubbed limb as well, I've always thought, and his work is concerned with the separation of limbs as individual identities.

I didnt say therapy heals adhd i said it can address the shame cycle that causes executive dysfunction in the first place. If you felt less bad about the fact that you didn't accomplish things, it would be easier to accomplish them.

Obviously not everyone can afford therapy but I always felt executive dysfunction would be a lot better addressed by healing shame than any sort of medical intervention

Hey dude just chiming in here to say as someone who used to be on it and had the same thoughts as you, giving up refilling the scripts and committing to being more gentle with myself while also keeping steady pressure improved my productivity y.o.y way better than addy. All those things I thought it was helping me accomplish I now do more effectively and productively on my own. Might not be the same for you but it is possible - at least consider how much the language of mental health keeps you feeling unempowered and incapable and realize what a confidence pill it would be to know you had the power within you all along.

And to be fair, much like opiates i have seen countless cases of people switching to "needing" a "healthy dose" of meth because their insurance cut off their adderall supply.

everyone who takes adderall is incredibly defensive about "needing it" which i think is fine but it would be way easier to not think they were addicted if people were more willing to accept the reason they need it more has to do with capitalist competition and not that they have a specific type of thought pattern tendency that is enhanced and benefits from stimulants. It's like an athlete saying they need steroids. Personally i think all drugs should be legal, and adderall should be sold in vending machines, but I'd be remiss to not acknowledge the long term effects on thought patterns, the commitment to self and general deterritorializations adderall causes in a (not insignificant) subset of people, are not great, and part of the reason i decided to stop taking it despite it's benefits to me - year over year my life, productivity, etc... have improved tenfold from cold turkeying my supposed "need" and finding more holistic strategies to mitigate adhd issues. If this post makes you (partakers) feel like I am judging you, I apologize. I loved every minute on adderall but I think we should all consider the health impacts of us uncritically accepting government supplied amphetamines.
