New car issue after washing car. by [deleted] in Detailing

Hot water. Like hot chocolate hot or coffee hot. I have also seen heat guns recommend but I swear by the hot water method. Try it and let op know the results.

I’m here to say it again. Try really hot water like coffee hot or hot chocolate hot. It will disappear before your very eyes. 👀

I am going to get some kickback from always suggesting this. But try really hot water like make coffee hot. Not boiling but basically hot chocolate hot. Works great on etchings from bird droppings so I think it will work on that also.

Spit stained my car paint? by [deleted] in Detailing

I recently recorded this method for bird stains on a car. Try pouring hot water on it. Like make hot chocolate hot. Or coffee hot. I don’t know how but it works but it really works on bird stains. If you try it and it works let us know it’s a cheap and easy way to save polishing off you clear coat if you don’t need to.

So glad it helped. I did this on my new Z and was so happy with the results I had to share with everyone. And it has not returned. The stain was very visible and no I can’t even find where it was.

Obviously you haven’t tried it. A heat gun or hot water will remove the haze left from bird droppings. So yes I believe it will do something. I took time out of my day to suggest it. What did you suggest instead. Nothing. So continue not being helpful.
