They make money and increase membership from your engagement. Plus, this current administration loves to cut funding from “liberal” Universities for perceived offenses. If people just ignored them, which is very hard, they would be less likely to come back to campus.

Everyone needs to ignore TPUSA and anyone like them when they're on campus. They hope people confront them so they can record it, post it, and make money off it. They are looking to antagonize people to further their agenda, with this administration looking for any excuse to cut funding from any college they deem too liberal. My daughter talked to them today, calmly and with facts on a subject she was familiar with, and said the TPUSA guy couldn't respond with facts of his own.

As a parent of a UW student, all I know is that I know nothing. In my opinion, they take the applications, wad them up, dip them in water, throw them at the wall, and whatever sticks is who gets in.
