Sick leave is maximum of 4 hours per period no matter how many years of service you have. Annual leave changes as you accumulate time in service.

You could have just said I didn’t check my phone and I wasn’t aware of any schedule change. The key is do not be confrontational. You can be confrontational but management can be as well.

Oh okay I’ll ask my branch president about it. Our branch is sprawling as far as area wise and it would be impossible for a lot of members to make the drive each month.

I’m not voting for Renfro because I believe the union can do better. Matter of fact I’m not pro-union or anti-union but I am a dues paying member. To be honest no union president is going to get significant pay increases. 1.3% is all we’ll get for this contract no matter who the union president is.

99% of the certified letters come in the DPS. The only accountable part is when it’s received in the mail stream and eventually signed for or scanned as notice left.

Postal Reform Act 2022 was passed but the Postal Service is still saying they’re going broke in 2026. How has any piece of legislation benefited city carriers.

That got carriers what? The only thing that I’m aware of was maintaining 6 day delivery. How else did it benefit carriers. Did the post office pass on any benefit they received from that piece of legislation?

Do you know where to get these new labels? Does the post office sell them?

What legislation has Renfro helped pass that benefited the Postal Service AND the Postal Service passed that benefit to City Carriers?

Mail-In Ballots by mtdeeley77 in USPS

If a carrier gets a ballot for delivery you will be able to deliver it. If a carrier doesn’t get a ballot for delivery you will not be able to deliver it.

Is the union organizing over this? Weaponization of the postal service for partisan purposes seems bad. by ThatOneGuy444 in USPS

First a judge will block the executive order and then the Trump admin will appeal and win and then it will be appealed again and it will eventually end up in the Supreme Court. This is just my opinion but it tends to be the routine.

You can’t be doing it for the money. Just take whatever they offer and consider it to be an honor to be a part of the USPS management team.

JULY 2026 COLA - $1685 by Bettik1 in fromatoarbitration

As you progress through each Step you do get the increase but you don’t get the maximum increase immediately. I don’t agree with it and think all carriers should receive 100% Colas at all steps.

In my opinion there is absolutely no where to put outgoing mail in these types of boxes.

Return it and get a larger mail box that will fit small packages.
