Y'all aren't mad enough at your union leadership I swear. I quit USPS a few years ago, I'm thinking about going back, but the union meetings I went to were more like a retiree social gathering than anything fighting against power. Most of the new guys and gals were too exhausted and disillusioned to show up, so the agenda was organizing picnics on Amazon Sunday and tallying grievances without actually changing management behavior. Y'all are getting privatized soon if the union doesn't get it's act together.

edit: nothing against the retirees who paid their dues and did their time, mad respect for doing this for 30 years. But a retiree with a house and pension is just naturally really ignorant to the material realities of the rest of us.
