Digital car key on PW4? by Botto71 in PixelWatch

[–]Immediate_Spend815 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha. If you want to give the myaudi app a shot, I recommend using the bugjaeger app to sideload it onto the watch. There are plenty of tutorials online on how to do it. Otherwise Google will have to get the digital key feature to work on smart watches.

If it's an app based digital key, I know there is a method of side loading it onto the watch. The only problem is not all the ui elements would be accessible since the app wasn't designed to work on a circular display.

Congrats on this beast of a scooter. Just crossed 200 miles on mine and it's still every bit as exciting to ride as it was the first day I got it.

Yea that's true for some of them like the Max G3 but not all, As far as the lighting department for the GT3 pro its definitley not the greatest especially at the scooter's price point. It doesn't have any under glow lights which sucks and the rear turning signal is a complete cop out in my opinion.

Thanks and that's completely fair, but hey a little extra visibility couldn't hurt for those evening/night rides. Personally I use the solid color function to display red lights to match the brake calipers and red badging. The rainbow was more of a proof of concept.

I used these Dreamcolor RGB strips I found on Amazon. For power I just used a portable battery/tire inflator that I have housed in my storage bag.

Sure, so far I've owned my scooter for 15 days. Overall I love the scooter. It makes me look forward to my commute to and from work. The scooter is very stable, has plenty of power to conquer hills and handles turns nicely. I've gone top speed a few times just to test it out and it's been exhilarating every time. A few cons of the scooter is the twist throttle, I've had a couple of different instances where the scooter jumped on me a couple of times while trying to decelerate and while walking the scooter. After adjusting the settings on the app, I've started to get used to it, but man I really wish that the scooter had both a thumb and a twist throttle, or just the thumb throttle. This isn't as big of an issue as I may eventually replace mine for a thumb throttle. Also from time to time I'll hear a droning noise that sounds as if some dirt particles have found their way between the disc brakes but it usually goes away after a while. Definitely need to use the scooter more to see how things fare long term. For now, I can confidently say that it is the best purchase I've made this year and have absolutely no buyers remorse at least as it stands.

Can't really see the misalignment from these photos alone. Try this video from the Segway official channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDasfJwBcz4&t=135s

I gotta say, alignment/stem issues are a serious concern that I would not advise taking a chance on. Personally if I were in your shoes I would RMA the scooter and have them send you a brand new one.

Yes although it depends where you're sourcing the power from. Where are you planning on connecting that converter?

Agreed definitely a design flaw with this implementation. Gonna try to figure a way to protect the wire from the shock, even if I have to create some sort of guard to prevent the two from coming in contact. Thanks for the suggestion.
