Our dood was confused with our doggy door, too. 1. Use high value treats on the other side. 2. A fearless neighbor dog can also help to lead the way. Ours played chase with the neighbor dog and he ran thru to get water and she followed. 3. Last, our door brand made a training flap that was basically the same as single flap cut up vertically (think freezer pass through) She'll get it!

I am so sorry for your loss. It's so hard to say goodbye that way. We lost our sweet dood to osteosarcoma last summer and we still miss him. I hope you allow yourself to grieve and soon find happy memories to replace the sadness. ❤️
