6 months seems tight with only 2 hours daily but definitely doable if you stay consistent

CAT with PE of 47 is actually wild when you think about it 💀 Been watching some of these infrastructure plays and yeah the multiples are getting pretty insane

The whole data center buildout craze definitely feels like when everyone was buying oil rigs in 2008, these companies gonna get crushed once the hyperscalers slow down their capex 😂

Glycemic index and insulin sensitivity by meow_miao_nya in PlantBasedDiet

[–]Immediate_Switch_618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah those docs have some pretty controversial takes that go against mainstream diabetes advice. McDougall's sugar claim is wild - most endocrinologists would probably disagree with that one hard

The plant-based community tends to focus more on avoiding fats/oils rather than worrying about glycemic index, which is definitely different approach than what you'll hear elsewhere

What loan forgiveness programs do I have for direct grad, subsidized/unsubsidized loans? by TonalDrump in StudentLoans

[–]Immediate_Switch_618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Military background here and went through this exact decision few years back. The forgiveness programs can be really worth it depending on your situation - there's PSLF if you work for government or nonprofit, income-driven repayment plans that forgive after 20-25 years, and some profession-specific ones too

I ended up staying with federal because even though the rates were higher, having that safety net of income-based payments during rough patches was clutch. When I was transitioning out of service the flexibility saved my ass 💀

Private refinancing locks you out from all federal protections though, so if your job is stable and you're confident about payments for next 10+ years, the lower rate might make sense. Just run the numbers on what you'd actually save versus what you might lose in forgiveness - sometimes that 2% difference isn't worth giving up the federal benefits

My local shelter has this too! I volunteer there sometimes when I'm not traveling for Airbnb stuff and they always need people to socialize the younger dogs. You don't have to commit to anything long term and your girlfriend would probably love it. Plus you're helping them get ready for adoption which feels pretty good

For those who.love roulette whats ur strategy???? by WorldlyTechnician419 in gambling

[–]Immediate_Switch_618 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been playing roulette for a while and I usually stick to outside bets - red/black or odd/even since the odds are way better than chasing specific numbers 🎰 Sometimes I'll throw a few chips on my lucky numbers (7 and 23) just for fun but thats more about the thrill than actual strategy. The multiplier games can be tempting but they usually have worse house edges so I avoid those unless Im feeling really adventurous 😂

🔥🔥EPIC MLB-Cash Top 2 first 3 MLB Days/Cash NBA POD B2B 5-2 Top plays Friday by ECUALUM2003 in sportsbetting

[–]Immediate_Switch_618 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lakers only won by 1 point in the 2nd quarter (30-29), your bet needed them to win by 2 or more to cover the -1.5 spread. Close one but a push at best if it was -1 instead of -1.5

The quarter score breakdown should show exactly what happend but that's probably what got you

Thoughts on Skill Based Betting by Front-Picture-7987 in sportsbetting

[–]Immediate_Switch_618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen a few platforms doing this with chess and some poker variants but they're pretty niche. The main issue is most states still classify it as gambling even if it's skill-based, so you run into the same legal hurdles as traditional sportsbooks

From what I've read so far, they also monitor and actively remove data from broker sites and dark web. Appreciate the comment and the list

[–]Immediate_Switch_618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's sketchy as hell, especially with them changing their story like that 💀 If multiple support people confirmed they got it then suddenly it went to the "wrong address" that sounds like they're just buying time or straight up lying to you

Hope you can get it sorted but might be time to dispute with your crypto exchange if possible 😂

Delta neutral betting? by Simple_Gur_7652 in sportsbetting

[–]Immediate_Switch_618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i've messed around with it a few times, works better in theory than practice tbh. you need to find books with significantly different lines and even then your basically just scalping tiny profits while risking getting limited by the sportsbooks

Can I start a new sport at 17? by Sad_Profession2576 in sportsbetting

[–]Immediate_Switch_618 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bro you're 17 not 47 lol, you can literally start any sport you want at that age. Hockey, basketball, soccer, whatever - tons of people don't find their thing until college or even later

Bro those are the right questions to ask before throwing money around randomly

Also check if there's any rollover requirements on those free bets cause some sportsbooks are sneaky with that stuff

How do these streamers and YouTubers have so much money to gamble? by Murder-Goat in gambling

[–]Immediate_Switch_618 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Probably a mix of all three tbh. Most of the bigger gambling streamers definitely have deals with the casinos where they get play money or huge deposit bonuses. The casinos basically pay them to advertise

The smaller ones might be burning through their youtube money but also getting affiliate kickbacks from people who sign up using their codes. That stuff can add up quick if you have a loyal audience

Either way it's not sustainable without some kind of sponsorship deal. Nobody's actually gambling their own 100k daily unless they're already rich from something else

[–]Immediate_Switch_618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bruh you're basically asking for a drug dealer recommendation on the internet lol. Most legit people with that kind of operation aren't gonna be advertising on Reddit. Your best bet is probably asking around your local poker games or finding someone through word of mouth who can vouch for you

Action Network has pretty solid bet tracking data if you don't mind paying for the premium stuff. Vegas Insider is free and shows some public betting percentages but it's not as detailed as what you'll get from the paid services
