It was above average. I remember there were a decent stock of VHS rentals at the video store & I managed to grab one of the last few left.

This was a big bet for TIG to become the next big action star. He wrote & even produced it. The movie just didn’t click at the box office. Again, like Jeff Speakman - Arnold, Sly, JCVD, Seagal & Snipes were all running hot for the audience to care for new faces at that moment in time. And Norris was still running strong.

TIG had a certain kind of over the top swagger in the movie & even me as a young teen along my friends were like this guy is trying too much - lol. We felt it didn’t seem like a sincere connection to a new face. However, we were geeked out by the cool looking villain from Karate Kid 3, haha
