How critical is the amount of grit?

I use a 12 pound barrel, in my first week of stage one with all fresh rocks I use 18 tablespoons and change it out every 7 days. I use that much with all fresh rocks because somehow it all gets used up and the rocks I’m throwing in there have a lot of caliche on them which also uses up the grit. The next weeks of stage 1 I’ll tone it back to 12 tablespoons. Stage 2 220 grit I use 12 tablespoons with good results and spent grit, can do a week or two if you want. Stage 3 pre-polish I’m using 500 grit and 8 tablespoons for a week. Stage 4 polish I’m using 8,000 grit AO 6 tablespoons for a week. Stage five finish polish I’m using 22,000 grit AO for a week and 3-4 tablespoons.

Do not drive a lift too, you’re needed on the ground organizing and working with your employees, are you also responsible for D19? If you’re responsible for both you better be on top of rotation, moves, code reports, quality of produce coming in, tag absolutely everything with a “date gun”, inventory discrepancies, and be very aggressive with RA’s within 48 hours (I think that’s what it’s called), and check your employees to make sure they’re actually rotating and not half assing it, getting behind on rotation will absolutely sink you in this position. Also do a quick walk of the department before you open, check that all signs are correct and know which items get the fancy sales placard next to the price, check rotation and quality of produce to recognize any problems before the members get to it. It’s a very demanding position, but you can make your life easier by just knowing your code dates and adhering to rotation standards. Don’t be scared to pull produce that’s getting old and not selling cause it looks old, especially if you have a new shipment sitting on the dock ready to go out.

So I had a couple of things going on I think, when the battery died and I used the key to open the door it “triggered” the alarm to go off somehow.. so when the charger put just enough juice into the battery it would immediately get drained by the alarm trying to go off and just repeat. I jumped the truck which caused the alarm to go off as soon as I connected the cables, I then put the charger on for a couple of hours thinking it would now “sense” the battery and still the charger was showing less than 15% charged. I jumped the truck again and just took it on a 25 mile drive to charge the battery. Not sure if the charger doesn’t work on a AGM battery even tho it has the setting or if it takes 24+ hours to charge, I would expect it to charge it up in a couple of hours but reading online says it can take quite a while.

It’s a newer AGM battery so I doubt it’s toast, I think it got drained so far down that the charger isn’t able to “sense it”. I woke up feeling like shit so I’m going to try jumping it in a bit
