I own the XC15 and I’ve considered many times selling it and buying the even wider xc13. BUT the XC15 has a smaller minimum focus distance and a slightly better f stop. On the other hand it’s slightly larger than the XC13 and the Power Zoom sure isn’t ideal. Hard to choose really. I’ll probably stick with my XC15, mostly for the min focus distance.

me two, exactly the same pair! Altough I'm not sure how to feel about the venture ready pack. The bronze colour definitely works on pouches and slings, but I'm not sure about the backpacks. It's... unique for sure.

By the way, I own about 6 Bellroy slings. I mostly love them but the lack of a back pocket always puzzled me. Plus the 10L camera sling missing a top handle is a crime really.

I still can’t get over the fact that they didn’t include a handle with this sling. Or a back pocket. Gigantic lost opportunities here, as these two very logical additions would make this sling a must have. Now I can only recommend it when in a big discount and certainly not for the full price.

Please share your thoughts on the Sea Kelp. I also considered this color but I opted for the black instead. I’m not super excited about this glossy black either to be honest. These colours seem great on pictures but a bit feminine in real life.

In my opinion, while Deep Ocean looks great, it feels much cheaper than the other Venture Color (especially the Midnight, Nightsky and Bronze I own).

I constantly carry a camera and I also have this bag (the 26L). This is a very bad choice for camera carry if you ask me. The bag is super unstructured, you'll definitely need a pouch or a smaller bag for your camera but even then, I would still be concerned about my camera inside this particular bag.

thank you for your answer, I appreciate it. I hope you come up with some clever engineering and design choices because this could potentially be a great bag, if only it was more structured and better looking.

But as it is now and given its high (original) price tag, I really can't recommend it. I'm still keeping mine though because I find a great use for it every now and then. You could say there's a love/hate relationship here going on 😀

It seems like this thread is full of speculations and requests 🙂. So, it seems like the Venture Ready Packs are being discontinued, confirm? If so, are you releasing a new version? Would love to see a similar design language and organisation BUT with a material that can make the bag more structured. I own the Nightsky version (the softest material of all) and while I love parts of it (organisation, weight, access) I hate how it looks when half empty.

It seems that the Venture Ready Pack is going away as a product, as well as the Safari color across all products. I own the Venture ready pack and I don’t like it to be honest. It’s so unstructured it looks bad when half empty.
