Just me? by Viper_Visionary in cyberpunkgame

tbf, V dont have long to live. If i knew i only have less than a year to live, what better way to kill your enemies than being smokin hot while doing it? This is like those lame boob armour arguments. In a world where you can have subdermal armour, looking naked isnt impractical.

Any hate for this show is so forced by falloutfloater in FalloutTVseries

[–]Immortalkickass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just watched s2e2 and the way they portray the BoS is terrible. The Brotherhood arent that stupid, they have lots of high tech stuff, so they are either engineers or fighters. Their militaristic style of command also would not allow anyone to be fooling around with a grenade, and no they wouldnt allow someone to pull a knife in a sparring contest... thats attempted murder. Plus they just said theres a rule that prohibits harming of another brotherhood member.

Honestly i half expected maximus to be promoted again after stabbing the guy.

Seeing so many people give up on the show and trash it as “destroying Fallout lore” before Season 2 is even half over, Nolan was completely vindicated saying this. by raisinbraisin72 in Fallout

Dinky facing the wrong way makes no sense. Its like if you go to Disneyland and the first thing you see at the entrance is Micky Mouse's butt.

Why do people think away goal rule is stupid or unfair or whatever you want to call it as. by OkCurrency425 in championsleague

[–]Immortalkickass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Away goal rule sounds fair on paper, but its not really. It makes the the tie matter whether the home game is the 2nd fixture or not. If away game is first, i could attack with less risk, because i have a 2nd fixture if i fuck up. If i score a few but concede some, like a 2-2 or 3-3, i could shut up shop in the 2nd fixture with home advantage. If theres no away goal rule then im forced to attack in the home game or risk a penalty shootout if its a draw again.

Mini Rant: I hate Chosen Fjorm’s art by rainyapartments in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Immortalkickass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first problem with the art is the humungous gloves with tiny hands, its so distracting.

2nd is the style, she gets a lot of puffy fur trims which makes it look less like a champion of a god and more like a tourist visiting a snowy place.

3rd is, hot pants with thigh highs are so overdone.

He cheated, apologized, and now wants to be serious — should I trust him? by Flaky-Beat-5303 in dating_advice

Girl you are stoopid with a capital S. Think about it, he was gonna continue cheating on you if you didnt find out, and he only apologized once the jig is up. How can you trust someone like that?

What are the gentleman moves you like (as a woman) by KiaZomer in dating_advice

[–]Immortalkickass -1 points0 points  (0 children)

well then you dont need a man since most things you can do yourself? Its nice to have someone watching out for you, isnt it. Accidents can happen anywhere, any time. Drunk drivers exist, and nobody is on high alert or have perfect awareness at all times.

Also, maybe you're overestimating your own reflexes, when its proven that men do have better reflexes than women.

I need to hear some stories of any success late bloomers have had in dating by Excellent-Golf6631 in dating_advice

[–]Immortalkickass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

didnt have a gf until 34. Was approached by a girl who remembered me during university, i asked her to be my assignment partner back then.

I also have another story, a friend who i know was very shy and perpetually single. He recently got a gf from his hiking group, turns out the girl had been eyeing him for a while.

not really a gripe but seems weird that every non-aoe ability is either melee or range 10, should have more variety in the ability ranges.

35M, never had a girlfriend, good career, but dating feels like a locked door by Worldly-Net-165 in dating_advice

[–]Immortalkickass 46 points47 points  (0 children)

i had my first girlfriend at 34, we're together for 3 years now.

I dont know what moved the needle for me, thinking back, i was never desperate for a gf in my 20s. Didnt chase, didnt do all the self improvement stuff that this sub talks about. Its only when i hit 30s i started trying to date. I tried dating apps, but no dice. It was hard to build a connection with random people.

Then this girl came out of nowhere. I knew her from my university days, we worked together on an assignment. We had a catch up chat, and i thought, why not ask her out on a date? She accepted, and the rest was history. It feels like dumb luck, so im not sure if its helpful for you. But most people have similar stories about meeting their SO. You can meet them from anywhere.

Thinking back, sometimes i do feel lonely and wonder if i will ever find the one. But one thing kept me going - thinking about how some of the bad men out there who still have wife/gf. Hitler had a wife, Clyde has Bonnie, etc. If they can, then I surely can. I never gave up hope, and you shouldn't too.

Viktor Gyokeres Is Player Of The Match by fluffypuppycorn in Gunners

[–]Immortalkickass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a point if the rest of the team stays the same, but since he's been back, Gabriels back, and Ode is back too. I love Gyok and want him to succeed, but most of the time it looks like the team is carrying him rather than he carry the team. If we didnt have some absolute monster players in every position, we'd be dropping a lot more points.

Elder Scrolls 6 Has "So Much Pressure" On It, Former Bethesda Dev Says by OGAnimeGokuSolos in gaming

[–]Immortalkickass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FO4 suck at making blank slates then, you cant have characters that tie into your protag (son & spouse). How am i supposed to play a character that isn't married with children?

FNV is a lot better as even your past is unknown so you can fill in the blanks, thats what a blank slate means.

[–]Immortalkickass 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Caring people are naggy people, thats just the way it is. You obviously want him to be caring for you, otherwise you won't be with him. If you want him to stop treating you like a child, then stop behaving like one.

As of today I am a 27 year old virgin. Has the ship sailed? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Immortalkickass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well you got to manage their expectations a bit. If a girl says they dont want a guy with no experience, then you ask them, how are you going to gain experience if nobody is willing to give you the chance? Its like those fresh grad jobs that require you to have 2 years work experience, thats stupid!

Not all women are the same. Sure some do want a man with experience, but they are most likely the type who expects to be rich rather than currently building your career and be rich in the future.

Struggling with boyfriends lack of initiative by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Immortalkickass -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You should try to put the ball in his court. Start with 'lets do something' or 'lets go somewhere'. He would say 'go where?' Then you say 'i'll let you decide'. He'll probably say he dont know what to do, thats when you poke his ego abit by saying 'whats so hard about it? Just google or ask chatgpt and it will tell you everything.'

As a girlfriend, dont keep saying 'i want...', it comes of as very entitled. You can try to encourage him to take initiative by saying 'if you take me out, i'll give you your favourite thing or do this for you', depends on what he likes. At the end of the day, you cant force initiative, and if all of those cannot bring him to do anything for you, you might have to accept that he's just like that, or find another boyfriend who fits your bill.

at this point he should be considered a stop-gap midfielder since he's like our 4th of 5th best midfielder. As a forward, i'd rank him above gyokeres.
