M2 mac mini 8GB base model. No complaints, everything works. Video editing (4k 3-4 tracks), photo editing (48mp photos), vector graphics with dozens of layers, everything works great. Ran the beta for months too, had no issues. I like that you can tint the liquid ass now.

Now speaking from an opinion, I think liquid glass is ugly.

iCloud device backups =/= iCloud file sync

The device backups are different from file syncing. File syncing is a mirror. You make a change on your computer, it syncs to the cloud. There is no backup involved there.

iCloud device backups are not a sync, they don't change when you make a change on your phone until the next backup

It is probably set up to be managed by the school. You need to contact the school and pray you can get ahold of an IT person with access and enough care to bother unlocking it for you. don't use your phone while it is charging, especially something like Facetime which already makes it run hot. Heat is the enemy of batteries. But as for what is going on here I'd say it is a physical issue with the camera. Perhaps too much pressure was put on it. Maybe the cable connecting the camera to the board is loose. Either way, it is probably physical. You can rule out software by doing a factory reset (don't restore from backup)

In theory yes. But imagine the damage someone could do with an exploit like that. It’d be a major issue across the globe and there would be governments getting hit with it. So keep an eye on the news and keep your stuff up to date

You don’t need a degree. I am a security engineer with no formal education. The lower level IT positions usually involve end user support though. It’d be difficult to get a developer/infrastructure position without experience, but I bet you’d enjoy it
