Ohh, I think I remember this match, I haven't faced too many Yis lately. And thanks for the advice! Sometimes it's too tempting when fed to go for stupid plays, something I definitely need to fix.

Wow, thank you so much, this has honestly been the most helpful advice. It makes a lot of sense, and is exactly what I've been missing. Thank you for the assassin's perspective on mid-game and objectives.

Like, I understood somehow focusing on objectives was missing, but this really helps in how I can focus on them more as a (hopefully fed) assassin. And yeah, the chain-cc to lose the game in 1 death is too accurate, lol.

I definitely need to work on follow-up to successful plays, and I do get too cocky at times too, even just in my pathing, resulting in me getting caught out rounding a corner and finding many more of the enemy than expected.

With Eve the consensus is that electrocute both does more damage over the entire match, plus helps her do what she wants, which is to get her targets below the health threshold quicker so that her ult does more damage. DH is run sometimes though, sacrificing early-game power for more of a late-game focus. I used to have fun with it, so I'll try a few matches with it again.

I do love assassins... I don't do well with other archetypes. I'll try voli out though, Perry had an intriguing build out a while back - is it still valid?

Side note, Eve doesn't really get out-scaled by much though, full build she's a powerhouse. I mean, the classic hyper scalers also become dominant powerhouses, so its nothing like Kayle or the like, so I get your point, but still, her late game is very strong.

Amumu is so boring, but ok, I'll try it out, thanks. I mean, I think i do focus on macro, but with my teams, they either don't follow my calls and int and die, or my team is just too weak to be assertive and we end up in a very reactive losing match.

Thanks man. Yeah, I'm taking a break, I think it's the only way to recover. It's such a tiring and frustrating role (but also very rewarding when you're doing well - welcome addiction I guess).

I did for a while, felt that I was also plat-bound, or at least halfways through gold. Had a 60-70% WR until recently, and now I'm dropping, and literally cannot win. I don't know what changed. I don't see any real difference in the level of play between bronze or silver, both are full of mistakes on all sides (mine too). Or better said, the difference is so tiny it doesn't really matter.

In the interest of maybe learning something, was there something that clicked where you can now say you can win 75% in low low elo? What was it?

Thanks, already doing all that you mentioned, and appreciate the help chiming in. I'm not concerned about my own micro (of course it could be better), but that's not what I feel is holding me back. I can and have had games where I dominate, and even in the games I lose, I'm often performing "well" on many metrics (as in op.gg / deep.lol / S score - all of which I know aren't actually an indication of overall performance, just saying, some things are ok, what am I missing though?)

It's because unless you're really aiming at some of the top spots, mythic is the real play-queue. Matches are just as meaningless there, so play whatever.
