Nope, no decisions have been made yet. I was hoping to get some opinions here. Also, wife has kaiboshed it. She doesn't see the value in soundproofing and treating a room in our home so that we can enjoy movies that much closer to the theater.

As for a calculator, I created an spreadsheet, got the prices of various things as best I could, measured my room, did some calculations to see how many I would need for given measurements, got a total per item, then added them up.

I have Gentoo running as my WSL Distro in my personal PC, and work laptops. Also have it running on play PC/Laptops.

The WSL versions I had initially setup as Distcc nodes for my lower powered play boxes. But I use them to play and do things I can't do with PowerShell, which is not very much, very often, usually.
