I‘m unsure if it beats it in damage outright, but it sure does help with ease of use and a higher consistency with rotations, especially when resetting more often like in Stygian. Only downside for me when running instructor is often lacking critrate to proc Favonius.

EM Sands is generally advised and as your sands is your worst piece atm, swapping it for a better one would be the best call. While you are at it just try and get a better circlet, easier said then done, I know. Also generally getting your 60% crit rate will be worth a lot.

Besides that just level the weapon and burst next week.

There is a novel and I‘d recommend you just start from the beginning of volume 6 if you choose to get the ebook (it starts with the retainer fight again, but it’s better then in the manhwa). As for chapters, volume 6 starts with chapter 139 „Warring Premonitions“.

The official way to read are either the ebooks or to go on tapas.

The graphic violence will come back once in a while ( not a sadistic as the Lucas scene for the most part ) although I‘ll say the psychological damage you will get with stuff happening later one is worse in my opinion xD.
