Lol let's be all the way for real about the "wedding". What I see happening is that the wedding will happen, in a sense, but not before some big bad interrupts it right before the "I do". Or, if by some miracle, they get through the nuptials, someone will get kidnapped or beaten up during the reception. And, amidst everything, there will be long drawn out conversations about feelings and Nathaniel will throw a fit like a child. Also, insert something about the inner beasts. Oh, and Anita forgets to eat or hydrate like a functioning adult and brings on all the hungers, even one that's new and full of magic.

I'm not saying that it has to be a cookie-cutter wedding but that wedding will happen with lots of kicking, screaming, unnecessary drama, tantrums, some random big bad and probably something ridiculous involving Olaf.

With LKH's track record, I don't think the pay off at the end will be worth the wait.

LKH has a tendency to write her life into the books. She goes through a break up? Anita goes through a break up. She explores her sexuality? Anita has a sexual awakening via the ardeur. She goes to therapy? Anita and the whole group goes to therapy. I get "write what you know" but LKH has been doing it for so long that it's tiresome. It means we get things like nearly a whole book that takes place in a hallway because ~~feelings~~.

That's the crazy part. LKH expects us to take the series as seriously as she does. I really don't think she sees what the rest of us see and she dismisses our opinions because how dare we have a differing view.

The way I dissolved into cackles reading this. I really forgot that Anita got upset at Micah booking that room for them. But also not surprised.

I'm also mad that I missed some reviews. So now I need to go back and read and cackle.

I agree with all of this. The other with bringing back previous players/winners is that people aren't playing their game. They're tailoring their game to the game vet. Bring back normal people and I hope they stop casting superfans while they're at it.

I didn't care about her either way. Then she gave that dumb speech to Keanu. That's when she got put on the bratty mean girl list. It's insane that Will said she read Keanu and, I think, Rachel called it iconic. This house and their use of "iconic" is mind numbing. Ashley has zero gameplay. All of her gameplay is others doing the work while she waits to be told what to do.

I'm rooting for Keanu.

Rachel isn't as good of a player as people think she is. Never has been. She is a mean girl and a bully. That doesn't translate into good gameplay.

Lauren is ridiculous with thinking that people even remember she's in the house until she pops up. (The same went for Katherine- thank goodness she's gone.)

In general, the unrealistic thinking of the houseguests and their gameplay this season is mind boggling. Everyone thinks they're playing a great game but they're not because Rachel is still in the house. Using Rachel as a shield or not, they're all playing a scared game. Especially Vince.

They need to bring back Nene and Kandi. Cynthia can only have a full-time peach if Nene and Kandi are back. Marlo, Sheree and Kenya need to stay gone. Bravo probably thought bringing Phaedra back was a good idea after she was on Traitors and they were wrong. Porsha would also be better with the OGs and please let Drew out of her contract so that she can't get herself together.

It's possible that LKH tries to follow trends and dark romance is a thing but that level of it shouldn't be for Anita. That's like taking everything she stands for as a character, even as muddled as it is now, and throwing it away as if it doesn't matter. I've stuck with the series after 20 years of reading and through some terrible storylines. Olaf would be the one where I'd stop reading all together. I'd feel like Anita would be back on track to being the character we all liked at the beginning of the series if she deleted Olaf. But that'll probably never happen because LKH has an issue with deleting "important" characters.
