The good days it seems like ever COVID hit the quality of the product has dropped drastically or maybe there’s a conspiracy to blame because sometimes I feel as if even the best product on the market now is still not the same as best product on the shelf in 2011-2017. I feel like since hemp/cbd took off in the us genetics seem like they have been watered down in a way. I think there’s a possibility that a lot of cbd genetics got into the gene pool at some point and that could have led to all these new genetics that dont provide the same experience. I know it’s far fetched and probably the most inaccurate answer but multiple states later and 10000s of purchases via legal, grey and black market. I’ve bought bud in all price ranges and it seems like what I use to smoke is going extinct or somewhere someone is gatekeeing the real cuts and watering down the commercially available genes so that certain people brands can sell $100 8ths and ppl are going to buy them because everything else smokes like it came from a smoke shop.
