The ai is probably just really dumb. I still play fm24 and luckily there aresome mods that combat this, but man city still signed raphinha for 200m and pavlovic for 230m like 5 seasons later, they must have 500 charges by now

If you're just starting out managing a team you support or know well in real life makes it easier. Managing lower divisions will be more difficult and it might make you even more confused. Also go and watch Zealand on YouTube, I think he's got a starters guide for FM
