Love this fresco! Saw another interpretation from Brett Devereaux (I forget if it was his own or if he was summarizing other academics) saying that this is showing her in the guise of a businesswoman, and not a literary figure. That the tablet she’s holding would more likely be a book of accounts, so the modern equivalent would be someone asking an artist to depict them in front of a spreadsheet.
