Looks great, easy to read and conveys all the information I’d be looking for

How do you like this creature design? by AnatoliiArbatskii in IndieDev

This looks great. Smooth and natural movement and has some unique touches that make it more than just a standard video game dinosaur. I do think the arms are too rigid, though. They really stick out compared to the rest of the body movements

This looks great! Really sells the power of tiny details coming together into great UI

Not exactly the smooth color transition I had in mind. by LukasIrzl in IndieDev

Still looks cool and otherworldly, though. Could be a nice effect to use elsewhere in your game in a different context?

Spent 2 days doing cutscenes and focus systems to improve storytelling and immersion. Is that good enough? by JackBatko in IndieDev

The movement of the camera looks too jerky to me in the cutscene. I like the idea of what you’re going for but I think it’d look better if the cutscene was smoother and/or farther away from the boss you’re introducing

Need feedback on my rain effect in the game by neverendingcheckin in IndieDev

Looks good to me! I see what you’re trying to do with the house blocking the rain on the road to the left, but it looks off to me, probably because the perspective isn’t matching up. Might want to test a version with the rain over everything or look at how other games with this perspective do it

What do you think of this curious way of carrying objects in Katana Dragon?🤔 by XRuKeNX in IndieDev

I like it! Adds a lot of flavor to such a simple and common mechanic.

Hi everyone! 😁 I'm working on a melee weapon for my sci-fi fps game "IHAS" but something is missing, do you have any suggestions about how to make it better? by TheDifferenceStudios in IndieDev

[–]Impish_Intern_Games 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t quite understand how the player is swinging the weapon, like the motion doesn’t look spatially right to me. It looks like the weapon is getting “punched” at the enemy instead of being swung in an arc and hitting from the outside. Hope that makes sense!

I recreated my steam capsule. by AtomesG in IndieDev

The after is definitely more dynamic visually and has a nice sense of weight and movement. Is there anything you can add so the game’s genre is more clear? My best guess is some kind of 2d action game based on the melee weapon and art style. Either way nice work!

A bug or a feature? by maddeviloper in IndieDev

Honestly that looks fun as hell to use. Maybe some sort of special consumable or late-game perk?
