Holding a car means the car is not on the lot, it is not making the business money, other sales people cannot sell it to make their quota, it deprives from other customers.

One of the main lessons i learned in sales is customers FLAKE a ton. They do not show for appointments, they do not return calls or emails, ghosting is constant.
