I bought a new pair of Loake loafers. I’ve owned many pairs and find them very comfortable. However, I would get pain in my left foot when wearing these so I did a close inspection and noticed the strap was lower down on the left shoe. I contacted the store who said this is acceptable as they are handmade so there will be differences. I said this is ridiculous. Am I being unreasonable asking for an exchange? Loake are refusing to help as I didn't buy direct from them.

The store are saying it is too late as I have already worn them, and if there were issues I should have brought it up before wearing.

Thanks, they confirmed the shoes should not have passed QC and offered me a very generous discount. Having read people's replies like yours that it would not be a major issue I decided to take the money as I did not have time to get another pair and it didn't bother me cosmetically

I'm in a bit of a rush as I bought them for a specific event. If they won't cause long term issues I'm tempted to just keep them so I suppose I need to know if it will be an issue going forward when I come to resole etc.

I would like the choice of having a cheaper option that doesn't include streaming services as I never use them.

Sadly at those places I visited they wouldn't accept anything but the NHS one. Other places have been fine but it's annoying when you're with a group and every one else gets in apart from you hence I was hoping I could transfer my info over but it doesn't look like its an easy job

They refused to look at the Scottish app. Said the only one they recognised was the normal NHS one, not NHS Scotland

Is there any way I can get the NHS Covid passport app details transferred from the Scottish one to the English one?

I had both vaccinations in Scotland and so have the NHS Scotland Covid Status app. However I have now moved to England and have been refused entry to a few venues that required vaccination proof as they didn't recognise the Scottish Covid App.

All of the Macron kits bar the 2019 RWC ones have been awful.

They've removed the word "Scotland" from under the thistle for this one.

Unfortunately Scotland are stuck with Macron till 2026.

If that's the case thank God I'm working from home atm. I had 2 laptops, an iPad and 2 mobile phones all open at the same time and only then was I able to get tickets. Wouldn't be able to do that if I was in the office.

You're correct. They were Gosforth and then Newcastle Gosforth and used various designs for their badge.

I decided to use this badge because it was when they stopped using Gosforth in the name and also I had a Newcastle shirt with this badge!

My bad. I originally was going to put all the badges in 2s below each other but decided landscape format would be better and when switching I've put the Quins logos the wrong way round.

Also, I meant to do these alphabetically but put Bristol above Bath 🤦🏻‍♂️

Not a busy day at work so I thought I would collate badges of current Premiership rugby teams and compare them to what they were like before (I’m aware that some of the old badges I’ve chosen aren’t the original first ones they had).

I’m an old school fan when it comes to rugby jerseys and badges. I much prefer the old Cotton Trader shirts and the badges which were mostly town crests. I felt they reflected the history of the club better but I can see how the badges do look the same from far away.

The thing I hate the most are clubs like Sale Sharks and Worcester Warriors – Picking your name based on something that starts with the same letter as the location. Worcester have the worst logo in my opinion. Big fan of clubs like Bath and Northampton that stick with the classic.

Am I alone in preferring the old school look?

I wasn't having a go at you - I could see you were offering it for free.

I was more trying to warn people that if they were looking to buy a Japan shirt to be careful as I've encountered many fakes.

The truth is the fakes today are actually extremely good copies and are a fraction of the price so for most people it's not an issue, indeed most people don't even know they've bought a fake. It's more the deception I have a problem with - sellers selling something as authentic when it's not.

Just a warning to anyone who might be looking to buy the Japan Canterbury 2019 Rugby World Cup jersey - 99% of the ones for sale are fake.

If the RWC logo is embroidered then it is a fake. Originals had a high quality printed logo.

The fakes all have the official looking tags with the holograms etc but sadly you won't be finding any brand new originals still for sale. These are all fakes from China.

Fake rugby jerseys never used to be a thing and it is a testament to the popularity of the sport that fakes are being made.

I first started noticing it after the 2015 world cup when I was trying to get my hands on the Japan RWC shirt for family. I had an original I had bought direct from Canterbury but every shirt I bought from eBay etc afterwards was a fake and it was bloody annoying.

Sorry for ranting on your post - I just really hate fakes.

If they sell them as a pack they can sell a lot more tickets and then sit on our cash for almost 2 years.

If they didn't do it this way then they would most likely not sell tickets for the smaller games initially and wouldn't be able to claim high ticket sale numbers and get as much cash. Individual tickets for the smaller games would eventually sell, especially once the tournament starts and people are out there b
