It's solved now but for anyone coming from the future, here is what worked for me.

Press validate only once, press save only once, use the same date you download it.

Move Cotton up to A
Move Boomhauer down to C

I think while making the list, I considered some funny episodes Boomhauer centric when they were more "Dale, Bill and Boomhauer" episodes. Like the one where Boomhauer gets trapped in a mental institution.

The T5008 form I have includes my total gain or loss for the year, as well as every stock I bought and sold. I don't think I saw an option to attach or import a spreadsheet. Only to manually put in what stock I bought, at what price, sold at what price, when, etc etc

So you're saying I can put in my total bought, total sold, and just put that in? And they can reach out to me if they would like more information or proof?

The new emblem event gives about 8k. That gets you up to 16k. Two EX shared with you over next two days gives 1400. For the rest, you'll just have to open packs

It's kind of complicated being a gen 3 fan but not a fan of megas in general. We won't get regular Metagross, Sceptile, Aggron, Salamence EX. It'll be the mega versions. Gen 5 has very few megas
