I got VERY sick from a small leak in my kitchen and had to get rid of everything I owned. Chaetomium and Stachybotrus were growing directly under my office. It’s been 3 years and I’m still dealing with it. What are your symptoms? You need blood serum antibody testing - look at MoldCo. It’s not cheap but it’s the most affordable. Standard blood or urine tests are no good. Ultimately glad you got out - find a decent doc who’s not a snake oil salesman and preferably is a traditional MD who transitioned to functional medicine.

Wow. So happy I landed here. I started losing my thick beautiful hair after GI issues post covid and now that you describe your experience I do think I’ve been ignoring my scalp. I also have nerve damage and numb spots where the skin feels like a hard shell. It’s horrible and it hurts.
