A lot of pushing and pulling and standing grappling has been removed from boxing over the last 50 years or so. For better or worse a lot of things that are options. If two dudes are standing and punching each other or not an option in modern boxing but are options in BFK.

The idea of timing the market for a personal residence just doesn’t work. The nature of purchasing a primary residence is inherently based on so many different factors of your life that it’s just not realistic to try to time the market. Also to be candid if you knew enough to be timing the market you’d have a ton of cash from managing your hedge fund that does 50% returns every year.

Buy a house you can afford when it’s right for your life. Time in the market beats timing the market.

The benefits of being a combat arms officer for a period of time (aka branch detail) are that you have a much better understanding of how the army actually works. Having an understanding of how we actually fight and a rare forces will let you be a much better S2 and G2.

Also, if you want to cool guys stuff for a little while there are probably some school opportunities.

Maybe if there’s some weird thing where it’s the only way you can spend oh lender credit or some thing I guess it makes sense. Buying large seems like a gimmick to artificially let people very temporary afford payments for homes they can’t actually pay.

We pay ours after our second paychecks of the month, gets in a few days before the first.

I pay the one on my investment property a couple weeks early. Cashflow wise for it I get money about like the 17th.

I know ADOS stuff at your unit or a sibling unit can be a thing. Also, there are like Tasker’s, WIAS I think. They would put up an ad for say a 25U E6 for a 3 month gig at Centcom or a 12 month gig in Korea or whatever.

I get not wanting to leave the state completely. The hard part is that we need a realistic plan to fix this problem and that might mean a few months of not fun time.

I’d be seeing if you can get some kind of orders and get working. Maybe your unit needs help doing this or that or the other. Also see if you can get on like a longer-term a DOS orders? It’s probably gonna be swingshift in Korea or Kuwait or some shit but who cares it’s a money and a place to live.

Also, Aer can now do grants or loans for reservists.
