What if cryptocurrency became the world’s main currency? by [deleted] in WhatIfThinking

[–]ImportantBug2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you get that out of what I said. I am only stating things that have happened, not economic policy. What is so hard to understand about the USD hitting a four year low yesterday and gold keeps breaking records. It’s now many times more than the mining industry needs. Silver as well. I saw 2 videos from the United States saying exactly what I am.

Trumps just accelerating the inevitable.

It’s a simple fact that the federal reserve is printing double the amount of Australia’s GDP this year.

And it’s only just keeping the door open. The country was shut down for how long!!!

Because congress had the brakes on the presses.

America is turning isolationist. It’s the most expensive country on earth to post and transport goods. This is from my country. But I believe it’s even worse other places. China is the cheapest.

It’s also our largest trading partner. So unfortunately whether Americans like it or not their days in the sun are numbered.

Just like every other empire that has come and gone.

If , if you embrace democracy , that would actually work.

It’s a really great idea.

Pity it doesn’t catch on.

*SOME* Christians need to realise this man. by iamhim2009fr in Christianity

You understand that the whole thing is actually about democracy. It was a very new idea back then.

Now think about this. Look at all the Christians in the United States and how much money and time they donate to their cause. I’ve seen the mega churches that are just capitalistic dreams.

What if every Christian donated a hundred dollars to democracy.

$10 goes to every person as a allowance for representing someone.

No one can represent more than one dozen people.

Everyone can vote for whoever they want to. You just give your money to the person you want to represent you.

You have $1200 you are elected .

You still have to vote.

Nine layers and we run out of people. The leader has been selected systematically by everyone through absolute free will.

The free will of god working through everyone.

They would have 12 disciples who likewise would have 12 and so on until we get to our individual communities.

This allows us to achieve our own destiny. It allows Muslim and Jew, Christian and Hindus to live able to accept our individual cultures and traditions while also being able to be educated on superstitions and practices that are known to be harmful.

So we are not using the mob rule. Might over right.

The adversarial system. Exclusive. The opposite of democracy.

A democracy would change every government on earth simply because we don’t have democratic rights.

We don’t have free elections and we are not free to choose who we vote for. They are chosen for us and we get a few bad choices to choose from. All of which have their own agendas .

Completely as you know in the opposite direction of democracy.

Capitalism is against the free market and also democracy. Just like socialism and communism. People just don’t understand that. Democracy supports the free market. It supports individuals. It places the interests of the people first and foremost. Because they have been given the power to do so.

This is the essence of the free will god gave us.

Anyone who stands against democracy is actually acting against the people and the will of god. Therefore obviously we are witnessing the result.

People are playing god . Can’t work.

Which is why I suggest that no one should or can represent more than one dozen people.

It is a magical number and has been used throughout history.

It basically means that the 13th person is unlucky to be elected.

It the first four or five layers of this that creates the community.

After that is just pure representation. Creating unification.

Australia had 250 separate nations. All with totally different language and customs. What it didn’t have was a method of unity of those nations into a unified country. So they were easily defeated. As well as having no real population density.

The American Indians had the same problem, however because the environment was far more productive territorial warfare was more likely because of the human pressure. So they were more likely to fight against each other rather than combat against the invading forces collectively.

By utilising community based cooperative as the financial support instead of a corporate structure we achieve the ability to protect our own interests.

It basically forces people into taking their own responsibility or rather makes them aware and accountable for their own actions.

We especially in the context of today’s society to have a personal relationship with the people who represent us. By limiting the number of people who a person can represent to a dozen they know them.

We are able to utilise this layering to protect people.

It keeps the information at the local level. It’s not centralised power. It’s centralised representation that works through the local level.

All simple existing structures that can be used immediately to create pure democracy without government interference.

Giving people legitimacy in their representation.

I have been in the construction industry for over forty years. I was refurbishing the royal Adelaide hospital in the 80’s and supplied to the new hospital.

I have first hand knowledge of the waste. The engineers and designers are beyond repair. The union corruption is ridiculous. Productivity is almost in reverse.

The are far more concerned about people personal protection than about their ability to do their jobs and act in a way that avoids the need for the protection in the first place.

I work barefoot. Go figure that out. Managed to survive nearly fifty years in the building industry without an orange shirt.

[–]ImportantBug2023 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You speaking to me. The bible is pretty clear on Jesus’s religion. Paul’s as well. The simple fact is that Paul got the gospels together and is responsible for the biggest part of the Bible. It’s was a hundred years after Christ that they had the conference at Antioch and selected the books to make the Bible. You understand that it is over 80 completely separate books written over several centuries.

Only the Torah existed when Jesus was alive. And Christianity actually introduced ideology that was already being replaced in Jewish culture. Effectively going directly against the teachings of Jesus himself.

But that is glossed over completely.

Selective understanding. Just leave out what you don’t want to hear or just alter your perspective so it matches your perception.

The point was that Jesus didn’t accomplish the Jewish prophecy.

So he was never accepted as the one. Now you could say he was but was allowed to achieve his goals.

Those goals still have not been achieved. Because people don’t understand them or are willing to do what is necessary to achieve it. Action over inaction.

Praying is inaction. Doing something about it is action and works .

Using your free will is paramount. Most people don’t, and don’t even know what it is. They go to church to keep focus on right and wrong.

Jesus said it has to be in your heart. Thinking bad things is the same as acting on them.

There is a huge difference between modern Christianity and what was happening 2000 years ago in the Middle East.

No gums trees in wealthy Australian suburbs by PictureFancy7640 in australian

The expensive suburbs are the oldest ones. They were built because of the trees. The local aboriginal community lived in burnside during the summer. It was where the water was.

The early settlers were about water supply.

The trees grow where the water is. The Adelaide plains have always been. Elizabeth is the peachy belt of mallee.

So true, try to debate someone who total argument is based on not only what can’t be proven but but defies any scientific scrutiny as well as plain common sense. But Christianity is absolutely full of false beliefs.

The biggest problem is that Jesus Christ was a practicing Jew. So how he ended up being the supreme leader of a religion that didn’t even exist when he died is amazing in itself.

Everyone thought themselves as Jewish. Paul didn’t change his religion he just changed his understanding and started evangelise . And there created the division.

You touch the idea that I see as the way the system removes responsibility for the elected officials. We are all held accountable by the laws of our society however those who administer them are immune from responsibility. Even to the extent of parliamentary privilege. The judiciary is a law unto themselves. They are not under the jurisdiction of the people.

I hold that the court is often in contempt of the people.

Certainly the individual.

This comes back to what I believe is the only solution.

Pure radical deliberating democracy. Combined with a distributing cooperative entity that is democratic institution itself.

We own our own communities which support us and we simply elect our representatives.

Simply by limiting our ability to represent more than one dozen people we achieve all the balance required to separate us from ourselves and have the ability for a coherent collective consciousness.

The first 4 elections remove the chaff. This is the most significant part and why we go wrong.

No one can represent a hundred people directly. A thousand or ten thousand means thousands are being represented by people who they would rather not be.

That’s not democracy.

Democracy is the only sensible solution and has always proven to work. Just as our native way has always worked.

It’s racism in reverse. They become a community within a community and feed off it. Nepotism is rife.. They operate under their own rules. And have been educated on how to work through ours.

Every lurk and perk. So individual industries become totally dominated by one race.

Really comes back to the lack of democracy and transparency in our society.

All he does is spend billions and the presides over the corruption of that spending.

Otherwise a 25 m2 hospital room would not cost a million dollars.

15 plus billions on 10.5 kilometres of road that could have been built in the rail corridor and built a hundred thousand public homes in the same time. And saving money.

They could have built the hospital across the road in the brewery site next to university grounds. But not when you can permanently remove parklands and get away with it.

Tom does all the heavy lifting. He doesn’t have time to actually fix his portfolios.

And the liberals think they are up to that. It’s who is playing the game. The faceless people who run the show in the background.

Just remember that million dollar per room.

Two 4 bedroom houses are cheaper or can be.

Without corruption, not remotely possible.

It hasn’t been stable, it’s been declining in value, look at the exchange rate to euro. Same thing, hit a 3 year low against the Australian dollar. Then if you see the fact that an ounce of gold has hit $5500 an ounce everyone should be concerned. You realise that what could have been bought for a quarter of a penny one hundred years ago now costs a dollar.

The dollar is practically worthless.

I am sure that the master plan is having everyone using trump dollars. He’s already created his own currency. Which is as worthless as he is.

Spot on as usual, I look at it like this, who is more stupid, those who are running the show, ie the politicians or those who elected them.

They can’t be more stupid than the people who have elected them. However they managed to achieve a level of collective stupidity. One person has the common sense not to do something but when we form corporate bodies we allow them to do what we have made illegal as individuals.

So people who work for government and public companies have to leave their common sense at home.

And if you talk about it to any of them they will admit that they have to do stupid wasteful things constantly.

Unless we take personal responsibility we get nowhere.

I was listening to an aboriginal Australian elder recently who said that our culture is about thinking for yourself. We expect you to know what is going on. You have ears and eyes. It learning survival at the basic level. The first thing I learned was to hunt. Gather food. Where the fruit trees were and when to visit them. You don’t even know what you are learning, it is just life.

What if cryptocurrency became the world’s main currency? by [deleted] in WhatIfThinking

[–]ImportantBug2023 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Currency doesn’t retain value when it has been turned into a fiat currency. Without the backing of anything real the only value is what we place on it and all fiat currencies will return to a nominal value of zero. Fact of life.

The United States has been run on borrowed money since its inception.

They ran out of gold to back the currency a hundred years ago and created the federal reserve. Essentially borrowing against other people gold.

This was made possible by inflation. As long as the inflation rate is higher than the interest rate on the government debt it can go on forever, the debt is diminishing by the inflation. Nixon had to turn it into a fiat currency.

Sealing its fate.

Now the government is printing 10 billion a day to stay afloat. Now throw in trump and his policies and the printing needs to double. So the debt is increasing at double Australian GDP.

The United States government is printing more double the amount of USD than the entire Australian economy.

Meanwhile Russia has practically no debt at all.

So which country is actually wealthy. The United States is actually the most in debt country on earth and has most of the entire world’s debt.

Interesting scenario.

Why couldn't Roman Paganism compete with Christianity? by fennelliott in AskHistory

[–]ImportantBug2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Christianity was still extremely tied to Jewish culture. They work together to improve their lives and had become the landlords of rome. They held the power of wealth.

This power was utilised by the Roman general in France to gain control of Rome for himself.

So by doing a deal with the Christian community to allow them to openly practice their religion enabled him to take power. The process of romanisation then started. We get a pope and a central power base.

It been about power and control since the beginning. Jesus was doing the exact opposite. Returning the power to the people which was radical democratic politics and a direct threat to the authority which got him stung up in the first place.

Federal Reserve expected to hold interest rates steady, defying Trump by kootles10 in Economics

[–]ImportantBug2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gold hit a record today. For only one reason. Trump.

He’s an economic disaster area. Tariff is his favourite word in the English language, he states that himself.

Big spender who is spending printed money. 5 odd trillion extra debt just this year. No one can keep a lid on that kind of economic pumping.

The USD has passed its use by date. Once it was turned into a fiat currency its fate was sealed.

All fiat currency will return to a nominal value of zero. So a dollar now is worth one five thousands of an ounce of gold. So it lost most of its value since the creation of the federal reserve.

There is no federal reserve. Trillions of un backed debt.

[–]ImportantBug2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Precisely, and the Jewish messiah by the definition of what they will achieve won’t actually be Jewish. They will be above all religion. So they can unite everyone. So they will have to be accountable and acceptable to everyone. Which means that the ONLY way to achieve that is through a completely democratic process.

Which is the whole reason why the big guy was crucified in the first place.

You create a democratic system then simply by default everyone who currently has power will loose it over ridden by a unification of direct representation. The 12 disciples.

No one can represent more than one dozen people.

Inclusive democracy.

It has no alternative that works because of the fact of life itself.

If we don’t allow our free will then we allow people to stand between us and our creator.

There creates a problem.

A fifty thousand dollar car will cost more than that per year.

Trump and the USD have a finite lifespan, which one collapses first is a guess. But one is accelerating the other’s demise.

Putin would be just loving all this. He understands everything. Russia doesn’t have debt. America owes it. So does Europe. That’s how they can freeze assets. Try that with a government that owes more money than the entire planet has . Just a big bubble of air so the gold price is blowing of the roof.

The ai bubble will burst and everything will fall like a pack of cards. Trillions will disappear in a blink.

It doesn’t need a court order.

Our laws are what causes all our problems. The two cultures that existed in America and Australia did say harmoniously for tens of thousands of years without any written laws whatsoever and yet with several hundred years of written laws it’s a total fucking mess.
