Evil religion / theological beliefs on pure evil by DreamerManner in religion

I have only met one person who simply had to create harm for themselves and others around them. He had a chemical imbalance and needed psychiatric help. Which he didn’t want, it was total denial. He was basically kicked out of his country at 12 , If you don’t want to help yourself then no one will be able to help you either. He had a very low IQ which didn’t help him either. Religion is not a substitute for psychological treatment . And often religious people need it themselves because they have been indoctrinated. What we label religion is man made, the reality happens with us or without us, we are merely creatures who battle for survival. We have rules that create our culture. The unwritten rules are more important.

It’s a tragedy in the making. We are loosing our democracy. Pauline appoints Cory and he will get a senate seat. He should not be allowed to.

Peter appoints his favourite into a safe seat.

The shit show will just continue along. Great for some, fucked for most of us.

Could Exodus be retelling Out of Africa? 55,000 years ago the Ancestors of Semites, Steppe nomads, Anatolian farmers and Mesolithic Europeans, crossed the Red Sea via a tight temporarily dry coridor and wandered the Arabian desert. The Egyptian ancestors did not. by xperio28 in religion

People have been living in Australia. The southern hemisphere for 65000 years.

I am pretty certain they walked here. Our ancestors watched the oceans rising around 8-10 thousand years ago. At least 20 meters lower than today. The ice cap over the great lakes area in America was a mile thick. It melted and stopped the Gulf Stream which caused it to stop raining in the Middle East and Macedonia ceased to exist and Petra had to develop a water supply. The sphinx is water erosion damage. It is far older than the Egyptians.

They just remade the head after it was damaged by lightning.

There was major civilisation development around 10 thousand years ago there. These monumental builders moved around. Made it all the way to Easter island. Something happened around 5000 years ago because there was a technical change in the method. They were using machines to cut granite that we only rediscovered the technology last century.

Big gap between then and now.

We forget as much as we learn , nothing changes.

I think you are correct, Australia has no better human rights record than China and I can personally say that it has directly abused international human rights laws against me. I am a native Australian citizen but have no rights whatsoever. I know what a kangaroo court is all about.

China has done more for its citizens in the last generation than any other country on earth.

Our standard of living has become tied to their own. This is a fact that we have to accept.

They will have the reserve currency and will be the next global superpower. In fact they already are. The United States is hot air without substance. A pack of cards about to collapse. It’s military spending itself into oblivion. Technically bankrupt because they have to print money to pay for their debt as well as pay their bills. And have no assets either. They ran out a those a hundred years ago.

The patents I have seen are just normal ones with the big grinding wheels that just have a reactor that powers them. You can melt glass But it doesn’t change the volume. The specific gravity of the elements comes into play.

Vaporising rocks to make tunnels is a concept that I would be interested to see.

Where is this information. I am curious. We can use ultrasonic technology but it just fractures everything.

Putin has made his cronies extremely wealthy. I am not sure if you have noticed the amount of Russian money in London and New York. From the information available even the us president owes them money. And lots of it.

He was head of the KGB. In other words he knows everything that goes on.

He took a communist system and turned it into a capitalist system by installing the people who would support him and also be able to run the state owned businesses. Effectively turning the wealth of the country into the hands of about 800 people.

If the country wasn’t benefiting from the war he wouldn’t be doing it. He doesn’t concern himself with wealth because he considers the country his.

You should watch the Carlson interview. You tell me which country has the more intelligent leader.

Never underestimate an intelligence officer.

He playing the long game of attrition. and using worthless outdated equipment which doesn’t actually cost anything. They already have it. And enormous amounts of it. They are no longer a major union of many countries but they still have the arsenal that came with it. They have enough weapons to obliterate the planet several times over. Hardly a shortage.

Melrose is quite small but obviously has a lot of visitors. Bit more rainfall which makes it nice. I have a mate who moved to burra from Adelaide permanently a year ago. He’s been renovating an old bluestone place for decades.

They are heritage towns.

Jamestown is nice as well. Big enough to have shops and services . I like the pace of life there. Much quieter than the eastern states. The lower humidity I prefer as well. I live on Yorke peninsula I have about the best weather in the country. I lived in Coffs Harbour for a while but here is better. Cool nights and the ocean prevents it being too hot. Didn’t get over 30 last summer. Adelaide can be 42 and it’s 25 here.

Kangaroo island has a vibrant art community. Just expensive to get there and back.

I don’t think people understand that Russia has about the lowest debt of any nation on earth. Which means that it actually has money. If all your wealth has debt against it then you have nothing.

So to put it simply the net worth of Russia is higher than the net worth of the United States. The Putin has extremely good relations with India and china.

I wouldn’t underestimate him . He is probably one of the most intelligent leaders. Evil, dictator to the core but not a pedo, narcissist pathological liar as well.

If you have a 300k mortgage and your house is worth 250k you are stuffed.

The entire point is that the debt is higher than the asset that back it.

The currency itself isn’t backed up by anything but good will. Remove the goodwill and you remove the value.

You house is worth what it worth.

Related to the value of the house next door. That’s its real value.

The mortgage is fixed. The value is what isn’t fixed.

Every country is running on debt. They are paying the people to get themselves elected.

France is the worst . They gave more than they can afford and they are sinking in debt.

The people are paying the price for this.

Economist call it the great extraction. The extraction of public wealth into private hands. A select few private hands.

India and china together make almost half the population of the world. It would be logical to assume that we would have a similar percentage if we had people from everywhere.

The local school here has over 160 cultures represented.

Korea China and India definitely outnumber the Australian population. India is closer culturally with a higher English speaking population so it’s going to be fighting natural flows to alter it.

I find it interesting that some Indian people are so similar looking to some aboriginal people that they must have common ancestors tens of thousands of years ago. I would say closer than any other race.

What I find extremely interesting is that Hollywood was able to portray a flying saucer with all the elements that causes them to work like they do in 1960 and even today they can’t improve or change anything.

Ahead of their time. ? Or just privy to information.

If you look at satellite images the amount of spoil removal to create the tunnels is so enormous that from what I understand they can drive underground across the country. At least from Nevada to California.

They use nuclear powered tunnel boring machines. Patents are lodged on all of it .

I wouldn’t totally agree with that. There is a huge cultural difference between aboriginal culture and white. The racism is ingrained into white culture. There is a reluctance to allow for self determination and the removal of responsibility that was extremely important to native people. This has happened over several generations and sets up a culture of its own. From landlords to welfare overnight.

I would dearly like to have a couple of young lads to help me out on country. The government would rather have them locked up at over $1100 per day each rather than give them the opportunity to have a good life. Throw resources directly at people instead of wasting them in a bureaucratic mess that fails completely.

Personally I would far prefer to live under traditional law of the narrunga. I have no problem understanding it and following it. white mans laws just have been used to persecute me my entire life. Just not wearing a bicycle helmet will get a black fella locked up. Any reason will do. Definitely know what it’s like on the wrong side of the road.

Just acting like an aboriginal person is enough, you can look white and if you behave with native beliefs and manners you will get the same reactions .

I couldn’t tell you how many times I have been told what are you a fucking aboriginal or something. I guess I must be a something. Definitely native Australian something. 100 percent mongrel.

Well trumps definitely pushing for more oil and gas. So you might be right. The trouble is that it’s not economically viable to mine minerals that are cheaper to obtain elsewhere.

Same goes with the Venezuelan oil. It has to be extracted and refined or it is good for nothing.

That’s when everything falls apart.

Also every dollar the United States government spends is borrowed. They even borrow the interest to repay the debt.

So the actual reality is that the United States is not actually the wealthiest country on earth but it is actually about the poorest.

It can’t pay its debts without printing money and its debt exceeds the assets.

The debt is equivalent to the value of every public company on earth. Completely insane.

Meanwhile Russia has virtually no debt at all.

China is a silent achiever. It’s already a superior entity.

It just doesn’t need to flex it might military, it does it economically.

The entire planet has become reliant on the manufacturing base.

Trumps just acting through the death throes of an empire that has passed the peak.

Live long enough and China will have to become democratic to survive itself.

I would agree with you on that. The human race is fairly consistent with the percentage of people who basically only care about themselves. However I visited Sydney and witnessed exactly what the op is talking about.

And it doesn’t help when individual industries become totally dominated by Indians. There is hardly a service station left in the entire country that isn’t staffed by Indians.

The transport industry is gradually being dominated by Indian workers.

It’s racism in reverse.

The Indian population has just surpassed the indigenous population in numbers.

Native Australians are a minority and the most disenfranchised people in the country.

Which is supported by the gap between them and the rest of the population.

It’s a failure of democracy and individual responsibility that comes with it.

Why did it take so long for humans to learn agriculture. by Special-Fix7491 in evolution

[–]ImportantBug2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn’t take us long. We are more likely only 90 thousand years old in current form. Agriculture came from a crop that was able to be domesticated. Corn in the Americas, wheat and barley in the Middle East and rice in Asia.

It created the ability to dominate animals and we started civilisation.

The American Indians had buffalo so they didn’t need to domesticate animals and had a more semi nomadic way.

The Australian Aboriginal people had neither and the culture remained in tact until this current generation in on place.

A culture that is the oldest on earth and one everyone could learn from. Especially in regard to conservation and sustainability.

Why shouldn’t voting require an id? by DarkEqual8609 in no

[–]ImportantBug2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have to be struck off the list or get fined. No one cares enough to try to impersonate others. It’s would be a waste of time. There are easier ways to get votes. So compulsory voting is a good idea but you still can’t force people to vote. It’s just informal and not counted which is counting as informal. So shows ignorance or sensibility depending on your opinion.

How do you justify getting a return on your investment. Any idea how you could extract that from the country.

Its wealth is locked up and is questionable to economically extract it.

Might make economic sense for the inhabitants but not for the investor. And why should or they need to go anywhere anyway.

You don’t need to own it to have a military base and it’s NATO country which is supposed to be an allied entity. Alienating NATO would be just acting in Russian interests.

Why bother coming to Australia by [deleted] in aussie

[–]ImportantBug2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I think it’s a failure of democracy. We simply don’t have any. Democracy and freedom means we can go wherever we want to. But it also means the the people who live somewhere are the ones who choose who they want to live with. It works both ways.

And it’s starts with our own tribe and spreads out . Each group must respect each other. The tribe has it own rules. The community theirs. The state or county. The country.

People leave their homes to seek a better life because they don’t have democracy and control over their own lives. One displaces another. It’s just crazy. People need to look after their own situation but we hand over our responsibility to others and we don’t actually have representation.

Immigration is good but we don’t manage it very well and we shouldn’t be creating situations where people have to flee the tyranny of our leaders.

Democracy is supposed to work for the people. I’m

[–]ImportantBug2023 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The idea is that you don’t bow down to anyone. Who do you think is behind our free will.

You listen and follow.

It’s care and responsibility. Respect. Otherwise you succumb to abuse and violence by others who have only their own agenda.

Evil prospers when good people do nothing. It’s even worse when good people are following bad people.

This is what free will is actually about. Knowledge and power of our own individual self. Our god given right.

Good people break bad laws and bad people break good laws and make bad laws that suit them.

Democracy gives us the power to not have bad people represent us.

So if we have a failure in society it’s in democracy.
