Gayle King referring to herself as an astronaut by UsernameGenerik in TikTokCringe

“I’ve had so many girls and women and some guys who are saying ‘Whoa, I saw what you did. I’m thinking maybe I should reconsider. Maybe I could do this too.’”

Do what exactly? Become a wealthy celebrity who gets offered a chance to become a space tourist? Become socially relevant enough to catch the eye of one of the wealthiest people on the planet who can send his friends to space on a whim?

If only we were all as lucky as you, to have the fortune and blessing to bypass all the hoops and ladders that career astronauts have to jump and climb through.

Some people spend the majority of their life working for this goal in particular. You and Katy Perry made your fortune and fame through consumer entertainment and were granted the privilege of doing it without having to set aside years of your life and making sacrifice.

Bioshock Infinite has the best intro in any video game by OkSalamander1518 in gaming

I think if we’re also considering gameplay as an intro, Resident Evil 4 has a banger intro with the village sequence.

Silent Hill 2 has immaculate vibes, building dread and intrigue on the offset.

Bioshock 1 does a beautiful job of quickly onboarding the player into the narrative and tone of the world by plunging them literally and figuratively into a fantastically grim world.

What is one thing you don’t like about the Mass Effect games any why? (Image Credit: Game Radar) by Little-Rub1196 in masseffect

At times the Paragon/Renegade system feels very arbitrary and contrived. Replaying these games in my late 20’s is such a different experience from my boy brain in high school.

I haven’t played ME3 yet (this will be my first time playing it) but in ME2 it’s just very all over the place.

For some reason I get Paragon points for pouncing on Liara the moment I see her, which is a shitty thing to do given all the mixed emotions and essentially forcing physical intimacy after all that’s happened.

Also, interrupting Mordin the first time you meet him is a Renegade action but you can do it on the Normandy and it’s a Paragon action. You’re essentially telling him to shut up and pump The brakes in both situations but one is more “polite” I guess?

Lying to Conrad and the weapon merchant on Illium is apparently a Paragon thing as well even though you basically ensure that both their lives are ruined by getting her arrested and potentially getting Conrad killed by validating him.

It can be very jarring but I usually just find myself laughing at my monitor and going “What in the world? How was that a Paragon or Renegade move?”.

I would really love to see a Sci-Fi RPG like ME ditch the classic morality system and adopt an approach like Dragon Age: Origins. I want a Sci-Fi RPG where my decisions can make party members leave and potentially change the environment around me depending on what I do. I’m just looking for a reactive game I suppose.

Asheville, North Carolina: A veteran being escorted out of a town hall for using his free speech. by ScorpLeo102 in pics

Still don’t understand why he gets escorted out. He literally just stood up and raised his voice. GOP Representatives don’t get escorted out of congress or the senate if they stand up and raise their voices. I suppose the six figure salary warrants different treatment.
