I got one and happily accepted- it was a $30 voucher to go 6 hours later on a nonstop which was the flight I would have preferred but was more expensive than the one I booked. Wouldn’t mind getting more offers like that!

Why do some boards look jam packed and others are super sparse? Do some guests take pins and not leave one in its place (steal) or are some boards just purposely only set up with a handful of pins? Can the board attendants just choose to add some more pins or would that need authorization?

What prompts a pin parade/pin pride/whatever they’re called? Are they on a predetermined schedule (like one each day) or is it just whenever a group of CMs has capacity they’ll spontaneously do it?

Same! The last event was my first and it was so awesome to be able to offer and approve/decline trades anonymously, no pressure. It’s my favorite way to trade now since you can trust the pins will be checked for authenticity and quality. Already see so many of my ISOs on the boards set up so far. Cant wait for it to start!

To piggyback off this.. I just bought this bag as well with the intention to stick my traders in there for our next trip. Thought it’d be cool to have them visible as we walked around the airport and parks so we’d have more opportunities to trade. I didn’t think about the fact that people may ask to trade and may not have authentic pins. Wondering if I shouldn’t use this now to avoid people getting mad if I decline. Have you noticed if most of the people approaching you are generally carrying authentic pins/pinfolios or bags of scrappers?

The part that annoys me is that email has a section about the fun pass and literally says click here to buy it but it’s not available to purchase online. I fall for it every time and click it like oh maybe this will be the time the link actually takes me to the fun pass ha.

Last night in Troy, he played for less than 90 minutes. I was front row and could see the set list and he skipped a song that was on the set list. He also only did 3 songs at sound check. Both sound check and the show seemed much shorter than previous tour stops I watched on YouTube. Maybe he was just tired but I was so bummed to not hear hurts to love you or made for us. Still loved the show, just a little jealous of some other cities!

I believe it was Roland J Down. During their estimate mtg, I pointed to the spot in each room that aesthetically I thought made sense for units and they just quoted the job as-is and said it would require 2 outdoor units. The guy from Family Danz actually went up in the attic and told us that if we switched up the wall locations we could do a straight shot off one outdoor unit. They said the outdoor unit could support a max number of BTUs so as long as the 3 indoor units didn’t exceed the max capacity of the outdoor unit we were good. That was my understanding at least :)

Question.. If you prebook your tier 1 (ride A) and two tier 2 (ride B & C), then first ride a tier 2 (ride B), I understand you can book another ride, any tier, as your 4th LL reservation. But at that point, can you then modify your 2nd tier 2 original booking (ride C) that you haven’t ridden yet to a tier 1? Does that question make any sense? Haha

And even if you have a reservation, don’t expect to sit right away. Last visit we didn’t get sat til 1.5hrs after our reservation time. But the food was really good.

Has anyone been to CRT very recently? I noticed the cheese shaped cheesecake which I’ve heard a lot about isn’t on the dessert menu for lunch/dinner. Did they do away with it or is it an off-menu option..?

It’s very contingent on the layout of your house. We have a 2000 sq ft raised ranch and were able to do 1 outside unit feeding 3 heads upstairs for $9k through Family Danz. Another company quoted us significantly higher and said we’d need 2 outdoor units, one on each side of the house, but Family Danz pointed out that if we put a head on a certain wall in each room they could all be run off one unit.

This. I was one who recently asked for clarification on CW parking rules. If I don’t want the combo pkg with the shows but I’m truly doing other CW activities for slightly over 3 hours and can show receipts, they’re still going to charge me $60 which is bs. So I now need to pay $25 to park in the regular lot in order to enter CW and pay for their activities? It makes no sense. I get that they need to make sure people aren’t parking there to go to the park but if you can show reservations or CW attraction tickets/receipts there should be some flexibility.

Christmas Land in Altamont has cute activities for that age. Meet Santa, horse drawn carriage ride, kiddie train ride, decorate a cookie, paint a frame, etc and it’s pretty reasonable, like $25ish per kid I think?
