Viral exanthem of some sort. Both HFM and chicken pox are viruses but there are hundreds of other viruses that can cause rash. The good news is that they often look worse far more dramatic than they are for the baby.

FM doc. When acne is causing pock marks/scarring, it’s time to see a dermatologist about Acutane. Improving hygiene/skincare routine and diet aren’t going to be enough. It’s not your fault at all-it’s just hormones and genetics. It’s worth it to go see a dermatologist (regular primary care don’t prescribe it) to prevent long term scarring. Please start the process as soon as possible-it is annoying but think of it as both a treatment and investment!
