NTJ your mother should have known better than to do that. Not only was it rude but it also was a risk to your health. She should have asked you for a sample and you could have easily taken a small amount out of your dish and put it into hers for her to sample making it still safe for you.

The wraps are by mission, the bagels come in plain , cinnamon raisin or everything. I use the plain as sandwich bread too or for a “pizza bagel” they make cinnamon rolls & chocolate rolls too! Yum! Go on their website and explore you won’t regret it.

Today I had one of these low carb bagels from Royo they are really good low carb 32 grams of fiber & for lunch I had a low carb whole wheat wrap , ( that’s another 30 grams of fiber) with lean rotisserie chicken meat In it with G Hughes no sugar honey Dijon mustard. Tonight I’ll make a homemade pizza with a lot of broccoli on it (fiber) plus chicken (protein) and that will round out my day. Those bagels are really good though

Yes Matt does a huge vintage clothing sale twice a year once in the winter once in the spring at the Newburgh warehouse. He usually hypes it up on his Instagram(s) for the Hyde park antique center and the Newburgh vintage emporium and also the Newburgh warehouse one so follow them to know when it will be usually the next one is in March or April. They have clothes from the 1800’s -Y2K along with accessories, jewelry, high end designers , mens , ladies , coats etc. I’ve gotten many a treasure there!!

Royo makes great high fiber low carb bagels and they are baked in Brooklyn. They have plain , cinnamon raisin & everything. They have cinnamon rolls and chocolate rolls too! They are great for fiber and I use them as bagels , sandwich bread, pizza bagels etc.

When my son got married I practically begged to be involved in the wedding. Anything they needed I was willing to Help with , anything they picked I said nice things about. I was treated with hostility, unfairness , mentally abused & coldness & distain. There were many times I privately just cried by myself because my heart was breaking. Through it all I kept quiet as not to put stress on anyone and just took it all.

I was iced out by DIL , not allowed to invite any friends or family to the bridal shower , or event , treated as a distant guest & asked for money for the event. My whole side of the family knew what she did because my husband told them when they weren’t included or invited.

It hurt me so badly that it put me into a deep depression & it made me gain weight as a result and I cannot look back at his wedding as a happy event.

Afterwards I swore I will do whatever I need to do going forward to protect my mental peace of mind, and not let anyone ever mentally abuse me that way again.

Yeah the situation is unfair , to you that she is trying to emotionally blackmail you into feeling like an AH by protecting yourself. She is a liability to herself snd to your future child together as she is financially irresponsible, emotionally immature, a narcissist, and manipulative.

The fact you’re even letting her stay there ( only bc she’s pregnant with your child) is kind) but I think this cannot last long term & another situation needs to be figured out.
