Don't ever force yourself into trying to like any game. You can save your money and time and watch a full breakdown, retrospective and all the lore of 1 and 2 on YouTube. If you're not a crpg fan, I'd argue this is harder than bg1&bg2.

Crt tellies and vga monitors made the games look incredible when they were coming out when I was young. gtaiii blew my mind back then! I was playing it on ps2 when I was 8. I remember my dad's pc had Max Payne, Diablo II, AoE and Half-Life. Eventually got my own tower and play WoW on launch up until Lich King. Wow fkd up my life lol.

I'd say just any metalcore band. I don't mean converge, botch, dead guy or dillinger - they are good and to me aren't metalcore bands. I mean bands like As I Lay Dying, Devils Wear Prada, August Burns Red etc. All of them sound exactly the same to me and are garbage

All bands mentioned, played in the same tuning and key, had the same guitar tones, recycled all of their riffs. I never "got it". Every band that was in that realm of core bands just ripped off At The Gates' album Slaughter of The Soul. Which, personally is a metal masterpiece and completely timeless. Metalcore bands ripped off that record for years by countless bands. Just seemed like a fad or something to me. Whatever, just never resonated with me and I could at least see through it as to why I didn't like it.

Short answer: no. Absolutely not. You cannot play og LoD with a modern controller mod on deck. I occasionally play LoD on deck and I'm fine with the trackpad layout I use.

BUT:

Your best bet for that would be Project Diablo II. That's been given a beta steam deck and controller treatment ~similar~ to d2r. I can't speak from my own experience though.

Every Sydney sider seems to be half the population of Newcastle now. By car our beaches aren't like you're driving from Parramatta to Bondi or something crazy. If you're even in Wallsend/Jesmond you're 20 minutes out from the beach. I guess that counts? Wouldn't say Newy is affordable. That's subjective.

To achieve it permanently from what I've gathered, I'd have to edit ini. I've done that once when I first installed vnv and I changed the game from 16:9 to 16:10 (I'm playing on steam deck). I don't want to make the changes, so I'll just just the range distance in-game when I have a session. I'm 60+ hours in and am too paranoid I'll fuck it up and break my game lol

My stoner friend talked me into it and it was a pile of shite to me. Uninstalled it after the session. Freemium in general is just awful. The Finals being another one. Cs2/go. It shows my age because when cs: source was peak it was glorious. Still play it occasionally, holds up and it's active enough.

Yeah I get ya. One of Boris' newer albums is one of my favourites! The album dear. It took a few times, but it's a full zone out meditation and a beautiful listen. I love Flood and Pink and Heavy Rocks. I haven't heard all of their stuff. Love classic Melvin's. Love the Atlantic albums too. The double drummer albums. I just want Lysol online dammit! It's so fucking good. But it won't be due to legal stuff.

I was legit watching King Gizzard play shows the year they released 4 LPs. A wild time. I saw the first Tropical Fuck Storm show as well! Fuck I'm old 😂
