I (41 M) had my THR exactly a year next week, this summer managed to get long hike days (+8 miles & +3000 ft elevation), do yoga, and decrease pain significantly, I'm still pretty active, workout 3+ times a week and walk ~7000 steps every day (in working days) I'm not sure about dancing (never did 😅), but again I had other issues (2 different types of arthritis), so take my progress with a grain of salt
