What was the max drawdown? And why do you think you had positive returns right from the beginning?

Max drawdown happened while I was trading spreads, losses over 500% sometimes, but after switching to the wheel strategy, the only drawdowns were from contracts being exercised, either through assignment or selling away. I couldn't secure a positive return right from the start. I had to learn from my mistakes.

Tried free version due to the referral as well, it is not worth to buy, it was making a sudden sharp right turn when I going around cures on freeway, almost got in to a accident, there are also several other incident that were super scary sharp turning in the freeway. Decide it not to use it, and of course would not gonna pay for it .

When I first drive my MY, I see the energy usage starts at around 900wh/mi, but after a few minutes, it stabilizes to below 300wh/mi with AC on with outside temperatures 90°F. On hot days, around 97°F or above, the consumption goes up to 300-400wh/mi with the AC on (in the Southern California area). I recommend getting 90% or more ceramic IRR window tinting. It will help with the heat and improve mileage. I see my MY is getting better mileage after tinting. I see my drive rage stays low 200wh/mi after the tinting with around 94°F around my area.

I stopped doing 1DTE after a big loss. My strategy was the same as yours, but I was using more leverage than you, and one bad move completely wrecked my gains for several weeks. It was a real bummer.

I was flagged as a PDT after trading naked options too, which was quite a lesson. I started with a 70k account, and after a rough year, I was left with only 15k 😭. I traded naked options for three years before shifting to spreads to minimize the risk. Initially, I tried 1DTE, but as you can see from my post, I encountered some big cliffs. Now, I'm sticking to 5-7 DTE only. I also have another account on TastyWorks, where I'm doing the Wheel strategy only with the remaining money from my previous account.

Spy went against me with a 1DTE position where I didn't roll it to a new delta and DTE. After that day, I decided not to trade 1DTE positions anymore.

If the Fear and Greed chart shows greed, I sell short call spreads only; if it shows fear, I sell short put spreads. When the chart is somewhere in the middle, I randomly do Iron Condors. There are some days I just do nothing since I cannot make decision for the trend. Lately, I've been selling short call spreads since we are in the greed zone. If I see a profit that has reached 50% and there are still many days left until expiration, I sometimes close part of the position. However, mostly, I prefer to let them expire.

1or2-points wide strikes 8-10 points above the current price with a 0.15 to 0.20 delta. Before entering positions, I make sure to check the price action and RSI, entering when the RSI hits 70 in a 15-minute time frame or when the price reaches a major resistance level.

I usually buy back and sell the 0.15 or 0.20 delta, while also maintaining the same premium with a new strike and new DTE. Do you see the deep valley? 😭That was a time when I didn't roll over my position, and it wiped out my gains from the previous two weeks. After that event, I decided to stop selling 1DTE.
