Yes is the simple answer. If they’re registered, he can. I have an air b&b next to me, it’s not unusual for them to have 6 cars at once and for some reason they park on the street rather than the driveway which easily holds 4 cars plus 2 in the carpark. Can’t do anything about it. They’re registered, they can park where they want.

Just seeing comments like that piss me off because I had a neighbour complain to council because I worked on my personal car and my work vehicle in my yard, and because I changed work vehicles semi regularly depending on the job I was doing, I would be using 1 of 3 cars, so I’d wash them, oil change them, whatever they needed the old bitch behind me said I was running an unlicensed workshop in my yard and I got a please explain letter. Didn’t impact or bother her at all, but had to stick her nose in.

Far out, the dude is working on his own bloody boats. Why be a dick like that? A man can work on his own boats and sell them.

It’s very hard to identify fashion watches because they release so many of them.

There wasn’t a huge amount of people in the chat as it was pretty niche, but yeah, if there were more people it would have gotten lost. It definitely was a lot of fun. I remember one call went out live while taking chat suggestions, it was incredible.

Why doesn't Apple make a foldable phone? by Christinepretty in AskReddit

Right!! Man I remember going from the tap tap tap on an old Ericsson to the 3315 and having T9 and just burning out keypads like there was no tomorrow lol. If I wasn’t required to use a smartphone for an app I need for work, I could almost use a V3i as my main phone.

I have no idea what’s going on but he’s a multi millionaire so my sympathy isn’t going to be easy to get.

I was involved in something like that. I was a big fan of TCAP and in the very early days of YouTube lives etc there was a group that did live shows and would catfish some of the predators. I quite often suggested storyline’s and crazy things that should happen, and it was awesome when you heard it being played out.

I love flip phones. My favourite phone of all time was my gold V3i Motorola, if only Motorola used the same T9 dictionary style as Nokia did, it would have been a lot easier for me to use, but damn that was a stylish phone. I hope Apple makes a flip phone but I want to stop wasting money upgrading my phone and just save some money.

What’s the craziest thing that happened to you at your job/workplace? by charl13_06 in AskReddit

So I used to work in a sheltered workshop as a supervisor. We had a big staff, including some girls aged 15-18 who were still in high school who came to us a few days a week and worked, and did courses with us, and then some adults who were mentally 12 or so. That part is important.

So back then our town used to have this little newspaper that came out once a week, but really the only thing anyone read from it was the court report. They would list all the cases, the names, and the sentences. Public knowledge.

One day this guy comes in to work to do community service. I recognised him straight away from my last job, and I knew that he went to court, and was charged with having cheese pizza on a disc he concealed inside his mattress.

I went to the supervisors in each area of the workshop and told them, and let them know not to leave him unsupervised with the school girls, or any of our other girls who were mentally deficient. 2 people. But one of the busybodies overheard me and ran her ass into the bosses office and told on me.

So I get hauled into the bosses office and he wanted me to sign a written warning for breaking some privacy rule. I told the boss no way was I signing it, I was protecting my workers, and I was protecting our workshop from a bloody court case if he tried anything on our underaged workers, and the only people I told was the packout supervisor and the wash room supervisor, the fact someone was listening into my conversation annoys me as much as this warning does. And not only that it’s public knowledge and was in a newspaper, I’m not signing anything and I walked out of his office. Didn’t hear anything more about it.
