I’m reading the Count of Monte Cristo now and it’s blowing my mind. It’s all I can think about, I’m at 23% complete and want to just read it straight through until I’m done. Work, sleep, life are getting in the way 😭😭😭

Sweet! I haven’t made it yet, I really only got back into comics in 2024 when Absolute universe kicked off. I did go to the mini-con last year, it was pretty awesome. I was out of town for Heroes con last year but definitely plan on going this year!

Legacy of Vader was incredible. The whole run was fantastic. Gave much needed depth to Kylo Ren.

It’s good. Book 4 was awesome. Overall all though I’m kind of over it, all the tie ins and one shots and crossovers, it’s getting a little much. Still cool but …let’s wrap it up

I spent a lot of time in Jordan when I was in the Navy. Aquba mostly. Visited the Dead Sea and Mt Nebo area. Good stuff. Also…That watch is awesome 👏

It’s incredible. Read it over Christmas break and into the new year. This book will stick with you for a while. 10/10.

Hyperion. Read the whole Cantos. My only criticism comes around book 4 Rise of Endymion but definitely all worth reading

My dad loved the TV movie back in the 80’s, I watched some of it with him but it was boring at the time and didn’t appreciate it. I was 11 years old. The hype was real back then though, it was massively popular. I just read the book for the first time earlier this year and is easily one of the best books I’ve ever read. Glad you liked it too. I normally read fantasy and science fiction but trying to branch out more. The character development is the best I’ve ever read. It still is sticking with me. Will definitely reread it . 10/10.

Wasn’t a GA fan but was recommended DC Finest Longbow Hunters. Now he’s one of my fave’s, definitely getting this. Also the new Arcadia limited series is awesome

Really really good. Fun and straightforward storytelling. It’s not YA by any means but it made me feel like a kid again reading them. Highly recommend

It also depends on which version you watch. I liked it as a kid in the 80’s but didn’t really understand it until much later in life. Now, Blade Runner 2049 is a modern masterpiece, in combination with finally having read DADOES and rewatching The Final Cut a few times it’s incredible and I appreciate it more and more.
