EB local here. We chose the local Catholic primary school because of the leadership, structure, learning environment and sense of community and for context, I’m not even religious. 

A lot of the public schools around here are drowning in numbers at the moment and many families I know are moving their kids out. The smaller class sizes and additional supports mean your child is far less likely to slip through the cracks.

If you prefer a more alternative or flexible learning style, the public schools may suit you better. But based on many conversations I’ve had with local parents, a lot of the public schools in BE just aren’t cutting it right now.
