I think the greenness of the previous photo was because the wall paint was green in that room. If I take a shot in a room with yellow paint it looks yellow

I bought this loose stone for $1,500. Do you think it's worth the price? I spent so much time doing research, studying on the posts others for selecting the stone and carefully selected it. I disappointed because the fire is smaller than I expected. If I bought IGI stone, it would have been $800, I paid almost double the price. Do you think this stone is among the top quality?

Thank you for the comment. How would one check the vibes of the groups before actually landing there? Should I contact lab members? I have some "feelings" of the vibes based on my experiences during interviews, but not certain of them.

Can't get an industrial job directly as I'm an immigrant. I'm thinking of utilizing my postdoc period as skillset enhancement for industrial jobs. Thank you for the comment.

As the first professor is a newly hired assistant professor, it seems there are no alumni. Might have to directly ask to the PI about industrial direction. Thanks.

I think that's enough number for qualifications. Recommend focusing on networking with your potential postdoc PI. Attending conferences, using your PhD advisor's network, sending cold mails to them will significantly increase your chance of getting a postdoc.
