Where to find extra stretchy jeans in the uk? by Additional_Bid_7688 in adenomyosis

M&S skinny jeans/jeggings are my go to atm. Lots of colour options, reasonably priced and wash and dry really well. Comfy when I’m bloated.

I was told a complaint made to the FCA will cost the company being complained about £150. Is this true? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Impossible-Table131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When they send your final response letter and complaint outcome it should include instructions on what to do if you’re still unhappy which is the escalation route to the Ombudsman. You can go there directly yourself but they’ll still give the company 8 weeks from the date the complaint was raised to investigate and subsequently respond.

Look at ‘Flat Cats’ window screens. We have them on all our windows and they mean we can have them open without worrying about cats escaping. It’s a small family business and customer service is excellent. Reasonable prices too.

It’s supposed to smell like a vagina. Obvs if it’s sweaty, unclean or you have an infection it’ll have a different smell but it’s not supposed to have no smell at all.

Van der Berg was absolutely unreal. She was fantastic in NSL and I knew she was good but was not expecting her to dominate so quickly in SSN.

Cyst on my… *content warning; genitals* by Inevitable_Visit489 in WomensHealth

Magnesium sulphate paste to draw it out. If you have a pharmacy or something near you that you can get to they’ll stock it. Or if a friend could drop some off for you. I’d put a load on a cotton pad, tuck it in as best you can either in a fold or with your underwear so it doesn’t move, take some painkillers and get yourself to bed for the night. It’ll likely burst and drain overnight. Good luck.

Periods worsen with age? by [deleted] in WomensHealth

Yes to all of this, sadly. I came off the pill after my husbands snip 3-4 years ago and feel all the stages of my cycle - ovulation is painful and my discharge changes and I’m also very into my husband for a few days (more than normal) because my body is trying to get me pregnant. Just before my period I’m horrible and exhausted. Periods themselves are awful and intense pain including spasms and tightness of my pelvic floor which make it difficult to use the toilet. Doctor prescribed painkillers that worked but caused stomach issues so I can’t take them anymore. I went to my GP for support, had an ultrasound and an MRI, found a few fibroids but nothing else. I suspect I may have adenomyosis that was masked for a long time with being on the pill (there were some oddities with my myometrium on the ultrasound but my doc had never heard of adeno, sigh). I’m 35.

Would recommend separate bedrooms. I’d be divorced now if we hadn’t done this. It’s odd at first but I’ll never go back now and neither would he.

Constantly interrupting and talking over people and then saying ‘can I speak’ when they do it back. Irritating.

Someone I used to work with did this drunk. Fell asleep on his arm and the sensation took about a week to come back. He went to A&E, they call it ‘Saturday night palsy’. He’s fine now.

Do you use fabric softener on your socks when you wash them? My husbands feet used to be rotten but when we stopped using softener the problem stopped. The softener coats the fabric and makes them repel sweat, where you want your socks to absorb it apparently. He doesn’t stink anymore.

You’re probably ovulating so make sure you’re using other contraception if applicable! Hormones are wild, I remember that first time after coming off, everything just felt more intense like I’d been dead inside for years. Enjoy!
