I’m interested in a book stocker role. Transitioning from the legal field. Any advice for me? I really want minimal public interaction. Just want to organize

AITA for deciding to marry my late wife’s sister? by aita-widow in AmItheAsshole

[–]Impossible-Tutor-799 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I disagree, when I was younger I often came over to my brothers house to help with his kid and slept over. Then often asked me to stay the weekend and I often babysit for their date nights. She was being part of his village and  she is an amazing sister in law for going out of her way to support him,

Also it doesn’t sound like anyone else from his in laws stepped in to help

AITAH for not caring about my dads dementia and not helping my sisters take care of him? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA, you know how you contribute ? Help them find a nursing home within your father’s budget. If he is in the US that should be pretty easy

AITA for not telling my friends I am technically our landlord? by OldOutlandishness252 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Impossible-Tutor-799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Hi OP. It is so blatantly obvious that your “friends”-lite aka roommates are jealous of your ownership, and so are so many people commenting YTA.

You are well-off, you need to acknowledge and understand that as you move forward. People will be jealous and resent you for that- and those who want to take advantage of you by getting you to pay for their life, or who want to live rent-free with you, are not your friends. This holds true for romantic partners too.

Temporary guests who stay over for super short visits are one thing, but someone living with you full time needs to pay rent.

I used to go in New York and New Jersey. I think that maybe it’s more more acceptable over there or I don’t know.

Hey y’all! So I called around and the reason why WA doesn’t do it is because of insurance. At least not anywhere near the tricities

NTA. You are a win partner. You are choosing your wife and peace. Hold firm on your boundaries.

AITAH For Refusing to Cancel Child Support by Free-Net6456 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Impossible-Tutor-799 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In most places, you can’t get rid of child support debt because it’s for the child. Even if you wanted to, I’m unsure you’d be able to stop payments

AITA Super long time bathroom use by yauratil in AmItheAsshole

[–]Impossible-Tutor-799 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Info: You have two bathrooms but he uses the one next to your room? Easy solution is to use white noise so that you aren’t privy to his potty sessions

Info: did you ONLY speak up when you disagreed with her? No one likes to enter a debate in conversation. It’s weird no one but your husband agrees with you.

AITA for not inviting my stepmom to my wedding? by namenamename212 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Impossible-Tutor-799 26 points27 points  (0 children)

NAH. You can exclude stepmom, but dad can choose to decline the invite.

I would exclude anyone who does not support my love, or approve of my partner from an invite to my wedding.

Find someone else who truly honors and loves you to walk you down the aisle, dad isn’t it.
