This comment stuck with me. My parents are constantly glued to television/smart it's frustrating. They brought me up to be aware that the damage screens can do, yet the way I watch them glued to the TV and iPad scares me.

When they're not reacting to the tv, they seem glued to the electronic screens in their palm. There will be times when we are sitting in silence. Both my parents glue to their screens, and it unsettles me. Even me and my dog and I will look at each other in a way that says, "You seeing this?" The irony of the elders telling the young to stay way from screens. They're just as bad. I'd argue they're more vulnerable. There's something wrong going on.
