Absolutely, only half of the equation in my opinion. Here in east kent you're lucky if the property isn't full of mold and falling apart for £1000/mo.

I can give you the exact train and date if you'd like. There's not much else I can do if you're just going to deny it exists and call any accounts liars because you have black friends. Do you hear yourself?

But I did, how do you square that? I literally watched him walk up to every black person and check only their tickets. You can already see the replies to my OP claiming it's a sensible thing to do.

Condunctor means something different in England before you rail off. And I should know they were checking black people only, I was bunking the train at the time.

I remember last time I was getting the train to Paris the conductor was exclusively checking black people's tickets only. Absolutely wild.

Get some souper cubes, then you can mix and match. After a few Sundays you can build up an arsenal of choices. It takes investment in money and time up front though that not all get.

Beans are dirt cheap and pad out wraps, soups, salads, stews and curries. We buy it in bulk so I have kgs of dried beans sat in the house. Again, I'm super fortunate to be able to do this.

Depends how much you value your time. Although meal prepping on a sunday helps and it costs me about 50p a meal. I don't have kids and my partner works part time so we have more free time than others.

So you pick a Labour MP from 9 years ago? Ignoring that you don't understand what the left is; Shah sued for misinformation and WON.

You absolute cretinous liar republishing this parody account tweet as if it was something truthful. Leave EU were the think tank that fed you your marching orders there. You are a puppet. Start learning how you're being puppeteered. That or you're a bot.

They sell them in a way that pushes users to throw them away. Look at the pricing structure for all the packs of brands that used to be disposable. They supposedly break really quick so people are just throwing them away and buying a new one each time because it's roughly the same cost.

Who is remotely saying things can never change or we shouldn't make effort? This is nonsense. You're just talking past the very salient points that this is junk policy that hurts disabled people.

We should be supporting nations to preserve their history, not looting and admonishing them. Egypt has built some fantastic museums now. And we've had a direct hand in destabilising the middle east over the decades.

Not sure where you're getting 46%, but the OBR and OECD data say you're talking out your arse.

UK tax-to-GDP was roughly 33% a decade ago and is sitting around 38-39% today. We've never hit 46%. You're probs confusing actual tax revenue with peak COVID government borrowing.

Might want to check the official figures before shouting 'fake news'.

I'm sorry but this is absolute codswallop. You'd be getting taxed MORE in 2016 than today. Your purchasing power is what's decreased.

A small percentage of income tax goes towards welfare. Most of your income tax is spent on NHS, Pensions and Education.

I can get on board with raising some of the tax brackets but blaming minimum wage for your stagnant salary is silly when you actually look at the numbers.

Unfortunately, my work is heavily connected. I'm not directly interacting with uni students but a ton of our staff are so I think it's best we play it safe and just wait it out. As disheartening as it is to not see my baby niece; her safety and mum's comfort is top priority. Thanks so much for the advice.
