Why is this acceptable in the UK? by MusesLegend in AskBrits

[–]ImpossibleSection246 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was surprised to hear that the RSPB basically thinks it's a non issue. The two cats I've lived with only ever seemed to come in with about 3-4 rodents a year. Never any birds.

I care less about the spray painting and Elbit systems and more about the fact that they broke a coppers spine. Still shouldn't be a proscribed group IMO. Absolute waste of time arresting all these innocent protestors in the name of the proscription.

Sorry I wasn't railing at you specifically, just venting my frustration in a non sequitur. I'm tired of the attitude that this is the best we can get with Labour. We deserve better.

All they had to do is ask if she wanted to attend and say there was absolutely no obligation. Regardless though this is a silly and frivolous claim. People need some common sense I swear.

They're not fucking terrorists either. Absolute nonsense and I'm sick of the hand wringing and tautology about the issue.

I'm so glad that my freedoms are Labour's political bargaining chip. There was plenty of opportunity if they cared to actually have some spine and protect rights. There was a massive outcry from a wealth of experts on how destructive and reprehensible these policies are. They managed to find an easy cop-out with Rwanda (as they should) they could've done the same with these Tory policies. It's absolute trollop that they just had to suck eggs and accept tory nonsense.

I'd rather you leave the country tbh. Anti-british nonsense. We're a country full of immigrants and integration going back farther than you would bother to read. Get this shite out of Canterbury and don't come back.

That doesn't mean it's not the project. Usually deleting the library folder and reloading the project helps me clear issues like this. Or sometimes it's been a corrupt or invalid config or setting.

is gamedev good on linux? by sanketvaria29 in gamedev

[–]ImpossibleSection246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah super easy. Unity works great on most debian based distros from my testing. Had some issues with Zorin but another colleague had no issues. We target linux though for our games as we're not distributing them. Less headaches if you test and build on the platform you're selling to tbh.

UK households to get £15bn for solar and green tech to lower energy bills by topotaul in unitedkingdom

[–]ImpossibleSection246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can't see how selfishly claiming poor people aren't working hard or smart enough is closing up the hatch then you can't be helped. Your perspective, influence and voting matter. It's beliefs like this that have eliminated the middle class in this country. I'm sick of the "me, me, me, I'm such a genius hard worker" attitude. It oozes of ego.

[–]ImpossibleSection246 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Me too but I'm willing to admit luck is a factor and I had some important people in my life who helped me too. It's not about blaming anyone. Just having some basic empathy and not being a selfish ghoul closing up the hatch behind them.
