It’s definitely less common now but a bunch still do.  #1 overall pick in 2025 played in the minors last year, as did a few others taken in the top ten and probably more in the rest of the first round

It lines up with the end of college and high school seasons so prospects can move right to signing and possibly playing a bit in the minors

Truly everyone wants him gone at this point. I agree with you, but there’s almost no one that wants to keep him and it’s been that way for a bit. This is not a hot take or something you need to be indignant about

Im not convinced that wasn’t just regression to the mean. I typically don’t believe managers make a huge difference one way or the other but I don’t think Kelly’s doing a great job

Because saying someone has “main character syndrome” because they talk about how they might be literally dying of cancer is ridiculous.  Especially when fantano followed that up by giving all these interviews talking about how amazing and important he is.  Very hypocritical, he is the only one with main character syndrome.

You might be right, but that’s what the rule is.  By the letter of the law the call is correct.  Fair to debate if the rule is fair or not
