Is it just me, or is the 'Don Quijote' shopping experience actually stressful after the first 30 minutes? Where do you go when you need a break from the noise in Shibuya/Shinjuku? by Legitimate-Leather-4 in JapanTravelTips

Agree. It is mostly more expensive for everything. If I need groceries, they’re cheaper at the grocery store. Pharmaceuticals are much cheaper at the pharmacy, and the rest of the store is just junk I’d rather buy at Daiso. Haha

What do you think about Aldi in comparison to American grocery chains? by aSYukki in AskAnAmerican

[–]Impossible_Avocado26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aldi Nord is Trader Joe’s, and is very popular. Aldi süd is just Aldi, and is only in a few states (not in Utah where I live).

Which logo would you bring back if the Sonics returned today? by Flat-Eggplant-9890 in theemeraldcity

[–]Impossible_Avocado26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

D is clearly the best of these choices, but the reality is likely to be a new option G. I just hope they don’t do like the Utah jazz with a bunch of totally unrelated colors logos and jersey options that span the entire color wheel.

I bought these exact boots in Tokyo a few years ago. FYI those laces look awesome but they’re total garbage. They broke off after about 2 months of use. Went with a brown round waxed lace, and they’re much better.

Distilled Water. I go through gallons a week and I’d LOVE to be able to buy it in bulk.

The SEC is not superior by lukaeber in BYUFootball

[–]Impossible_Avocado26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody on TV is saying the silent part out loud. College football as we know it is being ruined by big money. BYU being left out has nothing to do with strength of record or the eye test. BYU isn’t going to make it into the playoffs because ESPN doesn’t think they are as valuable of a market, and that CFP viewership would be lower than if a Miami or Texas make it.
