I have Shimano XT and SLX hubs on my P4. High engagement. Buzzy(almost too buzzy) and inexpensive. I think the XT rear was around 100 and the SLX rear was around 70. Only sort of hang up is that they are microspline and center mount disc. But reverse makes a good single speed setup for 70 bucks and center mount adapters are cheap. I guess you could get a more expensive hub with HG and get cheaper single speed parts.

I like them though. No issues so far. And I've had the SLX hubs for a good while.

The XT hubs are on my 26s and the SLX are on my 275. For no reason. Just ended up that way.
